Can anyone tell me an efficient way to farm old content as a warlock? My main spec is demonology and since everything has a cast time outside of procs farming old content is kind of a pain. Thanks
Aff, just run thru dotting everything. At the end of the day, lock is just slow compared to most others when it comes to old content.

Affliction.
Spec into burning rush. Drain life on any mob will top your hp and you are faster than every other class.
Corruption will one shot everything.
Old content is easier as a warlock than anything else

Without even mentioning the movement abilities, Dh, Monk, and druid, especially with speed sets, would like a word. Lock is fine, but you are nowhere near the fastest class for speed running old content.
DH is crab walking outside of fel rush, nope.
monk doesn’t have a ranged pull that one shots everything and outside of celerity torpedo and flying serpent kick you’re just walking at normal speed.
Druid is very fast but cat form speed is 30%
you’re comparing classes with mobility spells that have a cooldown to a 100% uptime on 50% movement speed. its not hard to see which one wins
Unless you’re running the same instance multiple times. In which case, druid and monk are faster.

They can teleport to the instance entrance.
I’ll just assume you’re completely unaware of what other classes have and too lazy to look it up, or you’re inept. Each one of those classes can spec into movement speed increases, and again, this is without even getting into speed running sets.
Druid, on top of dash and stampeding roar, can also wild charge and spec into a movement speed increase with feline swiftness.
Monk, on top of torpedo and FSK, can spec into windwalking.
DH, on top of fel rush and retreat, can spec into Pursuit.
In short, quit being daft.

To OP’s question: as Demo use curse of weakness to pull stuff instant cast and your pet should kill fast enough. If you’ve got inner demons talented even some free imps to get if it live long enough.

I find using fire and brimstone as destro works really well.
Fire and Brimstone is awesome for this. One incinerate takes out entire rooms.

Feral Druid / talented Cat form is 45%, or 50% while stealthed as a Night Elf. The stealth alone is going to save some time. There’s also 1min stampede and 2min dash. Dash averages out to +5% overall speed. Stampede averages out to +8% overall speed.
Feral Druids are the fastest long distance land animals in WoW.
As for OP: Spec affliction, take siphon life, turn on burning rush, and occasionally tap something with siphon life for a full heal. Ain’t no one got time to stop running for Drain Life.

Multidot with corruption (insta damage) or talent into AOE incinerate with destro
I like to use affliction for old content for a couple of reasons, one being the splash damage that happens when one mob dies, and two being permanent corruption dot, it’s great for old boss fights where there’s a transition or you get chain cc’d, it’s nice to know that even if you’re unable to attack, your dot will keep on ticking no matter what.

Best bet is to run old content with a BM Hunter friend who will clear things super fast with the legacy buff.
burning rush, healthstones and inner demons are you friends.
thats what i do running around wacking people wit my imps, draining life and healthstones to keep burning rush active.
felguard on passive sometimes pulling the room with CoW for a nice aoe murderfest
