Is anyone able to access the transmog menu? Or has that been disabled for now?
It is disabled this week, according to the beta notes from earlier.
Thank you!
You’re welcome.
Disabled? Ugh. My character looks ridiculous.
Play Drakthyr…
yea unfortunately we all do. Hopefully starting tomorrow this is resolved. Really kills my interest in the beta.
Would love some sort of update.
Did anyone ask for a rehash of the Superbloom weapons? No?
Let the Mogging free!
We have .
The reason most want it is the armor they are having us in for beta is beyond ugly.
Superbloom weapon and armor rehash..Ew no.
Its still not ready yet.
Why is beta even up anyway?
Is beta build updated Tuesdays? Thought the day was kind of random.
I just checked. Still disabled as far as I can tell. We were supposed to get it back this week, but I have no idea what day, that is. Be really great if a dev could let us know more about what’s going on, how long it will take, and why.
It opens for me, but many of my saved sets can’t be applied. It also seems like Blizz is doubling down on gouging those that like to transmog a lot. One of my “existing” transmog sets does seem to have transferred over completely, but I apparently have to save it to one of only two new “outfit slots”. Just saving the existing outfit to a new outfit slot is 8,700 gold!? Buying new outfit slots is 100 gold a pop. On Retail I have 20 saved outfits and it cost nothing to create them, only to apply them to my current transmog.
Maybe the new system has a high cost to save an outfit and it’s free to change among them, but some explanation of how that’s going to work in-game might have been nice.
On the other hand, it seems like your outfit will auto-change (at no cost?) based on location (rest area, house, char-select screen, …), movement (on foot, swimming, on a ground/flying mount), by current spec and/or talent-tree, and it does seem like the old “equipment sets” were imported too. If it works as implied by the menu drop-downs, well that’s a pretty cool step forward!
I thought I read that we would pay a transmog cost to change the slot’s appearance and any new armor equipped in that slot would auto-transmog. This idea of “outfits slots” costing so much to save and new slots costing 100g per additional slot… meh, that feels like a bad step backwards (maybe 2 or 3 steps). Put the gold-sink elsewhere please.
It’s not per additional slot- it goes up.
It’s 100k gold for the final slot.
100 for each slot would be much better.
Thanks for pointing that out… 76.6K gold for half of the free 20 slots we had on Retail… feel pricey. ![]()
Edit: It’s Beta, so I splurged to buy all 20 slots… 796,600 gold!!! (This original said 832K but the cost of the 8th slot was corrected from 50K to 15K)
That 100K cost caps out at #18, but damn, that still stings… Maybe most will only need 4 outfit slots (one each for on foot, swimming, mounted, and in housing)? I just don’t see how going from 20 free to only 2 free is going to go over well with anybody.
It’s rough out there….
It’s frustrating because the system itself is such an improvement, it’s literally just the unnecessary cost making it bad.
I kept trying to change my outfit and couldn’t . . until i realized i needed thousands of gold to do it. Thank you pointing that out. it is indeed price gouging. Definitely despise that part of it.
It really is.
Seeing the complaints here and in beta.
The cost is ridiculous.
It’s right up there with buying all your personal and warband tabs.
