I like having Thunderfury sword on my mage back
and I noticed all the caster weapons are daggers and staff now?
So are dagger able to be xmog into swords and vice versa?

As a rogue, I’ve been asking this question ever since figuring out my warrior can transmog almost any weapon to almost any weapon.
Can we get some answer from Blizzard for this question? If we can’t have this while most other classes can transmog most weapon types, please give us some kind of reason, even if it’s “spaghetti code engineering prohibits.”
The silence on this point from the devs for so many years is kind of disheartening.

100% back this. I came to the forums just now to make a post about this. I have a specific look for my lock I would love to use but since I am using a spellblade I cannot. The weird thing is that I used a sword before and THAT one was able to mog into a dagger. This one can only do the legion artifact staff and specific swords. It’s really weird and makes the think it’s a bug. I might report it as a bug just in case.
