Transmog + crafting

Was thinking about how transmog should be added in sod and got some idea.

First of all, we must Say that transmog is very important gameplay since they were added.

We don’t want to cut the “classic Spirit” for the people that love to see everyone wearing the same bis tier of the phase. So, the first idea is to give us the option of toggle ON / OFF the other players transmog and let us decide.

And the second idea is to make it harder by adding rpg elements to:

*We gotta need a transmog npc : and now we need 1 craftable for each piece (consumable in the process)

Each profession make a different piece.

Enchanters : weapon, wrist
Blacksmith : helmet, shoulders
Tailoring : back, feets, pants
Leatherworking: chest, hands, waist

And add barbershop :slight_smile:

Even if transmog is just added paying gold like other versions, but please add it

That is an idea, i would want to add that the professions make the appropriate versions instead of delegating certain pieces to other professions.

Example
-Armormsmith covers all Plate/Mail slots.
-Leatherworking: All Leather/Mail slots.
-Tailoring: All cloth slots.

-Weaponsmith(Sword, Hammer, Axe): Handles Daggers, Fists, Polearms and other specialized appropriate.

-Enchanting: Staves, Wands, Offhands.

Jewelcrafting: If it appears then Fists, Oddhands as well potentially.

And yes to Barbershop.

Make it a massive gold sink. 30-50g per piece

That seems somewhat needless. If there needs to be tedium added, add value to the crafting professions instead of draining gold out of the economy.

Agreed, if gold has to be involved then make it some moderate/cheap reagent for the craft.
