I thought this was supposed to have been gone away, meaning there are still class restricted armor sets and pieces that cannot be used for other classes that wear the same armor type. I know only classes you have a character for will allow you to collect the looks for and after use the cosmetic across all classes that can use the armor type BUT it’s not happening. Am I wrong about how new Transmog is supposed to work? Ijs there are class restricted armor from DF & TWW that still can’t be used as well. Peace

All of the PVE DK plate armor from DF is still restricted and I noticed some of the TWW too. Even Paladin plate armor from WOTLK and allot of the armor from that expansion is still Tmog class restricted. Idk maybe I have a weird bug, but I’d like to use some Pally armor pieces on a Warrior mog but can’t
There are non-class restricted clones of a lot of pieces of some armour. Like you can collect all but the pants of the Tomb of Sargeras paladin set for any class to use.

Kinda confused about your wording here. There was never going to be class restrictions removed from armor when it comes to actually transmogging gear. The restrictions that were removed were the ones that prevented you from learning that transmog on another class.
So you can LEARN paladin-restricted transmog on every class.
You can only WEAR paladin-restricted transmog on paladins.
