600g+ every time to mog my new outfit and weapons is ridiculous.
Some of us don’t have the brains or time to play the AH game, and even if we did it is still too big of a gold sink! The barbershop is free, why can’t the mog services be free too!? What do those mog npcs use gold for anyway? They’re not even part of our realm.
I just want to look cool. Why am I being punished for my narcissism? I know I’m probably yelling into the void here and people will most likely rationalize it as “they make it expensive so that you are incentivized to play the game more to acquire gold…”
BUT can we at least fantasize about reducing the mog cost or at least maybe paying a once a day / 3 day flat fee for infinite mogs?
My ideal would be to just have a system where all your saved outfits cost less and less everytime you mog into them. I shouldn’t be paying full price every switch back and forth, a girl gotta have her screenshots!

For the average person who doesn’t farm gold and doesn’t have old raid farming to fall back on transmog might be a little bit much.
We should be able to transmog the slot not the armor.

It sounds kind of like you want Glamour Plates.
In FF you basically have a set of preset outfits you can save, and then when your in a city area you can just open the menu and pop over the that set of transmog options.
There’s a cost to set them up (trivial) but after that you can swap to that set at any time for free.
It’s worth noting though that 600g is basically nothing. It is a bit steep for an RP person or something though that just hangs out and does non-monetary stuff.

Yeah but what if you’re the kind of person who literally mogs between dungeon runs to look better in lighting. I spend an average of 5K g on a full play day mogging.

If you do the WQ (the races) 8 times a week you make about 4k gold.
That’s enough to change the xmog about 6 times and it only takes 30 minutes a week.

i do this all the the time even without having my void elf main now i can still afford to mog stuff if u dont have 600g at all what are u doing lol , even just pvping and doing quests /wqs/dungeons and i still have gold leftover . i had like 200g left after a recent tmog change extravaganza n im now back at 13k g just by playing the game .
so just play the game
Level a paladin, druid or monk. Learn to heal and tank. Run LFD when those roles are in need.
Sell your augment runes to the sweats on the ah.

I change mine pretty often and it does add up. I wish they could cut the cost in half, seems a little punishing.

Everything is to expensive in wow for people who don’t no life or play very little it’s hilarious seeing people who come back after a long time and use the ah there like wtf and they wonder why people just leaven paying for mog is one of the lamest things.

The average player can take skinning , fly to thunderscale ridge & farm cacophonous thunder scales for half an hour & make 10k gold its that easy.
There’s all kinds of things the average player can do to make gold. It doesn’t mean they have the knowledge or the time to do it though.
