I don’t care there is a new thread on this every day. This race feels half finished. We have tauren, worgen, and dranei all with messed proportions. Dracthyr shouldve also shipped with the ability to wear our full gear in both forms.
Let us wear our armor in Drakthyr form, please. Unfortunately, only the loud will ever get any attention from blizzard.
Also while you’re at it, fix the pvp talent Divde and Conquer for scalecommander.
At the very very least they should give us new armor options using our tier sets.
I’m starting to think Dracthyr are actually going to be stuck with the same few armor pieces forever.

The only way I’d ever say yes to this is if they separate Visage and Dracthyr transmog, so that I can transmog how I want in Visage completely differently from how I transmog in Dracthyr. Like the barbershop currently is for those customizations.
Otherwise… hard no from me. I refuse to have to go naked in Visage just to keep armor off of Dracthyr form. I like the barbershop options.
I agree. I feel like this has been something that people have said since their launch. It is a shame that nothing has been said about it. I mean we are hinted at getting new classes to the race. So now we will not be able to see ANY gear in our dragon form of some hopefully great tier sets, or mog pieces in different armor types.
Dracthyr feels half backed as a class/race. I mean Augment imo ruined ANY possible comp for pugging in M+, and if I recall there was an out cry for another tank class. A dragon tank would’ve made more scene in terms of the black flight being LITERALLY earth and rock. That and how Deathwing in human form acts more like a warrior than a caster.
100% doesnt feel finished. Lacks 2 different models like every other race, lacks customization, has weird animation, models look out of proportion.
It really is sad. It’s what stopped me from playing this race/class for all of Dragonflight. Now I’m playing it and it’s fun as hell, but it still bothers me that we can’t transmog on Dracthyr. Makes zero sense. Sounds like laziness to me. And when we get new classes for Dracthyr you’ll be given the option to stay in Visage form. At that point why not just roll a BE/VE? Makes zero sense.
I understand if they don’t make armor/ tier usable in dragon form especially when it goes to other classes, evokers tier should work though…
and there should be way more barbershop options.
Absolutely agree on this. There’s really no technical reason for them to be unable to apply the models, given that draenei/tauren have all the same issues aside from wings, which doesn’t really seem like an issue any more than tails. I could have understood if back items and maybe head or chest items were off, but everything but shoulders and some belts? Not even gloves?
I suspect it was more a “we ran out of time” issue, or maybe a budget/staffing issue, or maybe even an experiment to see if people would tolerate it. Either way, with them opening up the Dracthyr to other classes, I’m reeeeeaaally hoping they fixed this. I would love to make a warrior, but I’d hate to lose the ability to see my gear. I like dragon form, and would want to stay in it, so visage isn’t really a solution.
I don’t think they should get rid of the current stuff, it could be what’s there if you hide that piece, but it’s really character feel breaking to not be able to wear gear like any other option.
It literally has 4 baseline body models on top of more customizations than just about any race, bliz sticking to their guns on the matter of dragon breasts is the best thing they did about the race
There’s a reason man’ari didn’t ship with wings and they basically limited some of the illidari transmog options
I agree! People are so afraid of androgyny for 1 which is annoying in itself. And for 2, reptiles are simply not mammals.
4 baseline body models? Are you taking about the slider that makes your chest bigger?
2 completely different models not a slider for chest size. Nobody is asking for dragon breasts they are asking for 2 completely different models, this model has the worgen female skeleton, maybe use another skeleton for the other. Its lazy having one
