So to be clear I am looking for an addon or weakaura that tells me if I need to learn a token or not, if I have already learned it on the current class.
I am farming some old stuff and when a Druid/Mage/Hunter token drops I don’t want to waste using it on my druid if they already have the transmog learned. If that makes sense does anyone know if any of the popular addons or any other addons do it?

I would love to know this too. I’ve been farming raid transmogs and have so many tokens to deal with now from ICC, Nathria, Sepulcher…
The inefficient method I’ve been using is to use the Warband Collections (Shift-P, I think?) for appearances since they recently made it so you can see your collections for other classes by changing it in the drop down menu. This is slow though since I still have to go through every raid, every class, every set, every slot. But at least I can do it on one character and then mail the tokens off to the appropriate alts.
But yeah, it would be nice if there was an app that would just say that you still need a particular token for a particular class still. Maybe there is some functionality in the “All The Things” app? If not, we really need a Warband Token Management app!

I seem to remember one of the old transmog addons I used showing this but can’t recall which
The only addon I can think of is canimogit. But I don’t think it works on tokens.

Have you tried AllTheThings? I personally do not know if it does what you’re asking for. I do not currently have installed. I found it way to detailed/heavy for my needs.

All The Things can do that with account mode enabled so it’s not just restricted to your current character and class but anything. It should show that.
Edit: To add to this. If the token you’re looking at has a ton of looks they might not all fit in the tooltip in which case you can open your chat enter window, type /att and then shift click the item and hit enter and a mini list will pop up with all the options.

I use “All the Things” which separates the appearances based on collection which would include the tokens.

AllTheThings is amazing for things like this, however, I feel you must be warned about the memory it takes. Right now with my (massive amount of) addons, I have around 677 MB of AddOn Memory and ATT is 507 MB of that.

All the Things is what I am using since years.
If you disable the “optional” content, like holidays, pvp, pet battles and the like, then you can go to each zone and just grab the stuff you are missing. If you enable everything, the you will feel overwhelmed.
In raids it shows you what you got from each boss and on what difficulty, it´s actually pretty good. They also started adding small comments about certain transmogs or rewards, so if you are like me and only use this addon then you can get around of using WOWhead and co. to understand what it is that you are missing and where you can get it from.
Make sure if you are hunting rep rewards or tokens, that you enable account wide and show all at vendors, as you can unlock it all with your main / most advanced char.
