My toon is currently GM of an Alliance guild I want to faction change her to horde, but I can not have my main as GM as it is not letting me pass a horde toon. (tested on an alt), Why do away with a Guild Faction change since we have cross faction guild if you can not pass the GM role to the oposite faction?

Yep I’m in a similar situation. I want to pass GM of my guild to my Druid but I can’t because opposite faction.
It’s quite stupid.

yes it is, I do not know what they did away with the guild faction change if you can not pass lead to whatever faction you want/
It’s probably a bug and not working properly, otherwise they wouldn’t have removed the service.
When will it be fixed? Probably not for awhile because it’s not that urgent of an issue for them. It sucks, yes, but the percentage of players this probably effects is low.
Wonder if they even thought about this interaction before removing the services, feels like they didn’t.
Would be nice to transfer my guild to my main so I didn’t have to log into my alt repeatedly to make changes.
Do you have a second account to do the transfer?
Last I checked, to pass GM over both need to be online.

I cannot pass GM to my alliance druid on account 1

Strange, odd for something like that to still be in place or rather being made in the first place because it would have been impossible to even try before cross faction guilds.
you do not need to be online to have gm passed over, as my brother gave me gm to our guild when he wanted to join a different one and i was offline at the time
