I have an 80 on Benediction but have been splitting time between it and another server. Had thought that the ‘new character creation’ on locked servers would also mean I could transfer my character over to Benediction to play with my friends there. Now that Ulduar is coming out I looked into it and found out that no, even though it results in no change to population on Bene, I can’t bring my character over. Has killed any motivation to play

I’m in the same boat and it’s super frustrating. Blizzard is really throwing their heads in the sand and pretending like these huge server issues don’t exist.
Remember when Blizzard’s priority was making a good gaming experience for gamers? There is no other way around it, people want to play on large servers because they want to make sure they have groups for Dungeons, Raids, PvP. Blizzard needs to accept the reality of this, and implement changes making this happen.

same boat here. they also mentioned race/faction change would be coming this phase but have been silent on that too. its amazing how much they don’t care about classic even tho these transfers and race/faction changes would be an easy money spigot.

Can we please get some feed back on the following:
- Why are we not allowed to transfer alts to a server where we already have a level 80 character but others may freely make new?
- Why are we not allowed to transfer characters from an overcrowded server to a medium sized server (EU Firemaw to EU Earthshaker)?
- Why dose a server like EU Earthshaker not accept transfers while EU Golemagg is fully opened?
- Why can SOM characters be transfered for free to any server while we can’t get a paid transfer to some servers?
Any kind of explenating for the logic and intention behind these restrictions would be nice as ae are nearing 2 months of no responce from Blizzard on this thred.

Can we get a update on when/if we can transfer to the “fresh” servers, Got a few buddys who are on there and my paladins on Grob who ive been playing sense classic van and id like to eventually join them sooner rather then later.
So yet again Blizzard has failed at releasing the promised Faction Transfer. They don’t even acknowledge the player base by answering simple questions or hinting at a release date. The amount of time that it is going to take to catch up to my friends on the opposite faction is not going to be worth it. They have had months to implement this on the Legion Client that they are using with a WotLK overlay. This just keeps adding to the long list of promised things that have either been delivered that are trash products like the LFG Tool that they said would be better functionality than RFD or they don’t deliver at all. I hope none of the Classic Team members doesn’t come over to the Retail Team side, they have been almost a complete disappointment. I am no longer going to play Classic. Here to add the weekly request to open up transfers to Maldath, fix boosts for Maladath, and sht, even a faction change would rule. I have characters on other realms I’d like to bring to the server I actually pay to play on.

Keep Grobbulus closed or hire mods to go hard on people who don’t have RP names / TOS unfriendly names. We’re an RP server but the flood of non rpers who came in from WOTLK launch with horrible names that don’t follow RP server rules is maddening.
for ppl who do want to rp, they should get Prio to get into grobb, but opening the server, even just a little; opens the floodgates to bots. Ugh.
The fact that I still cannot transfer one of my toons over to Benediction is absolutely infuriating. I have 2 80s on Benediction, but god forbid I transfer over an alt… the incompetence with Blizzard is laughable at this point.
