Please do everyone a favor and allow PAID/Free character transfers to servers that players already have a lvl 70 character on. The server does not get more full with a transfer, since I can only actively play 1 character at a time. It actually will help mitigate population since I won’t actively be playing on 2 different servers. I bet thousands of others want the same thing…
My main is a 70 Priest on Whitemane. In wrath I will be playing my 70 Mage that is on Eranikus now. Transferring my mage to Whitemane does not increase the player population. Let me pay you the damn $25 so that I can enjoy the game with my friends instead of being stuck on 2 different servers.
No queues on Skyfury tonight. Thank you for listening! This was absolutely the right call. Not a perfect solution, but the best that could be done quickly. I just hope that if the server population starts to fall on one or both, you consider combining them back later.
There is no queue on Grobbulus and my friend wants to make a character to play with all his friends there. Is it possible to unlock it, or at least let some character creation happen?
Oh noooo, thousands and thousands of people on Skyfury can now play the game. How awful. Those couple hundred on Angerforge are totally worth the thousands on Skyfury. Sorry, that’s not how the world works.
Blizzard, the locks are understandable, except for the fact that people with characters on Locked servers cannot transfer any alts on other servers to their main. People want to consolidate their roster for a new expansion and you are completely preventing this. Just like boosted characters and new characters can be created by those who already play on the the locked servers - so too should paid character xfers be unlocked for these accounts.
What’s happening with Sulfuras. It’s locked, and can’t transfer, free or paid for transfers. I see this post was updated today, but nothing has been mentioned in regards to Sulfuras. My buddy has been trying to transfer from Benediction since yesterday, and is even willing to pay for it. However, even paid for transfers aren’t being accepted. He already has existing 70’s on the server.
I did not saying anything about the already 70s on the server. in fact i am honestly jealous of them of those that were to grid it out. Using my going out to eat comparison it would be like me being upset that other people eating there and not the restaurant.
