I am very excited about classic being re released… one idea/suggestion is… eventually after all content is released in classic phases it will be stagnant once again. We all know this is true eventually. Blizzard should include an option for when after all content is released , to have the ability to tranfer our character from classic to the current expansions. ( This is idea is second to re releasing burning crusade after classic )

if you mean to go to Burning Crusade expansion, I think thats the idea if this is as successful as people think it will be, but to jump to retail no, that would be horrible

I think you misunderstood exactly what he is trying to say, so he wants his lvl 60 character to progress and go into a Burning Crusade server after hes done all the content in the classic server, and when hes done with Burning Crusade to go hop onto the Wrath Server etc etc, it makes sense but the way you’re looking at it and how I thought about it at first, and I am against by the way is going from like Vanilla to Retail or any of the most recent expansion which I don’t like the idea of
Let’s just keep pushing for The Burning Crusade.

Being able to jump to TBC would make sense as an option for independent expansion servers and stop at Wrath.
However maybe resetting content, I’ve heard PS manage to do that since many years over.
Conserving classic authentic as it is, might be top priority.
“I wanna play Classic and use your progression gear as transmogs!”
This is why people wanted Classic. Retailers are addicted to collectathons.

Terrible idea, Classic is not for transmog is for players who wanted that gameplay since Retail and Classic and tremendously different.
You can still earn gear from old raids easy as hell, except for a few items like Benediction, Rhok’delar, obviously because it represents past glories like having your artifact challenge’s appearance you can carry on right now.

I’ll never understand why people loved TBC so much. It was the beginning of the end when they brought in arenas, paladin/shamans, flying.

Vanilla to TBC servers if they happen sure. Flooding the game with xmog/mount hunters that just want items for Vanilla to Retail isn’t going to happen.

The ONLY path where this is allowed would be going through all the expansions again until you reach live server status. Anything short of that is a hard no.
Stagnant for you maybe. I’ve been on pservers for years. 10 characters is a lot of content. There’s also a whole other faction.

Why yes, yes we are and have been. Only reason I went after raid sets was for the looks. SO much better now that I can use them anywhere!

What is possibly wrong with classic xmogs transferring to retail.
Surely we would not be too concerned with someone working a toon to 60 and ninjaing something. just for the mog, right?
If someone is nutty enough to do that. Poo. More power to them and their hard shell and oily centre.
I believe it’s more because of the rare items you can’t get on retail anymore. Devalues them.
