Transfer from classic era when TBC classic hit

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to allow transfer IN (WITH A GOLD CAP) to the TBC servers on launch of TBC. For those who have 60s, that dont want to do another phase progression, but want TBC. That would make me happy. I really just wanted TBC, but not everyone gets what they want. However, I could deal if they would allow this. Im sure some will absolutely despise this idea.

If the gold cap is 20g, then ok.

I would be 100% ok with that.

I really hope that Blizzard clarifies this soon. My first classic toon was created this year and I have spent a lot of time getting him to where he is at. I would love the ability to transfer to TBC with my character when the time allows. I do not want to do it all over again.

I’m kinda split on this one. A gold cap would be needed for sure. I also think the transfers should only be available sometime after the first phase of TBC.

Thats fine if there is 2 separate servers for TBC era.

There 100% absolutely mandatory needs to be a fresh TBC era for people to start from level 1 in and level. That’s what people have been asking for when it comes to TBC. No one has been asking for a TBC that you can transfer your maxed characters to.

I think it would be just fine, if gold was capped as has been suggested.

I don’t think a waiting period is necessary, as there will be some insane people that level to 60 in a couple of days anyway… and probably not a huge number of people will want to pay for a transfer.

Another reason though to make sure these are TBC Era servers. I doubt anyone who has been playing vanilla this whole time is going to want to be funneled into the next Cataclysm Classic.
