idk if this is the right place to post this or not.
since about 7.3.5, i’ve been getting this randomly. i usually just think the world server went down for some reason, and quit for a while or play a different character in a different area.
but now in bfa, i’ve had this happen more, and it doesn’t seem like anyone else is getting it at the same time i am. so idk if it’s a me issue, a blizzard issue, or what.
basically, sometimes when trying to go to another zone or into an instance, i get “transfer aborted: instance not found”. couple weeks ago, it happened with drustvar. took the flight path out on my warlock, started teleporting back to the edge of drustvar after the gryphon went over the border, then dc’d. upon dc’ing, i try to log back in only for it to say “world server down”, no error code or anything like that, just “world server down”.
tonight, i’m getting it on my level 100 mage, sellael, on wyrmrest accord. i first got it yesterday, in pandaria, while leveling with a friend. we tried to go into valley of the four winds on a two-person mount. he dc’d, which made me dc, then i could enter the valley while he could. today, i try to do my mage artifact quest, i’m at the point where the warlock tests me and gives me the demon stone, i try to teleport back to the hall and bam, transfer aborted. hearthed back to dalaran, left group with friend, was eventually able to get into the hall and continue the quest. now, after killing balaadur, i tried to take the portal back the hall and bam, transfer aborted. this time, i left the instance group, and now i’m stuck for about three or four hours now unable to login that character with “world server down”.
i have no idea what causes this, i reset my internet, haven’t reset my computer, logged in on other characters on moon guard and teleported to the hall, no issues getting into it on them.
is this just me, or is this something server side?
