Transfer Aborted: Instance Not Found

I’ve been killed twice today so far on flight paths with a Transfer Aborted: Instance not found. I wasn’t even on loading screens for anything. Once was in Pandaria flying from Jade Forest to the Shrine. The second time was in Legion, flying from Dalaran to Valdisdall.

I’ve also been getting random Transfer Aborted: instance not found trying to hearth or take portals.

EDIT: just had another drop from a flight path (this one was close enough to the ground that I survived) from Stormsong to Boralus.

Hi Prue

Let’s take a look at your computers system report. Create a DXDiag.

The second section of page has DXDiag report instructions - we don’t require the MSinfo report.

That will be a wall of text. If you have issues pasting on the Forum here go ahead and put it up on pastebin.com. Provide the link code portion of the URL - example below.

(The green bold portion at the end of this example link: https://pastebin.com/**Qk28Ed1P** <=== this code)

Are you seeing any latency on the World reading while playing or are things normal there?

Does this need to be done while WoW is running?

pastebin: gNrfbw5a

And I didn’t notice any latency beyond my normal range.

I’m seeing some network related errors on the DXDiag. Let’s take a look at a WinMTR test.

The instructions are on this Blizzard Support page:

Once you have the tool open enter the IP number for the server group you play on in the WinMTR box then hit start.

137.221.105.2 (West Coast)

(only the number - include periods)

Leave it run for 5 minutes or so. Doesn’t matter if you are playing or not. Then use the button that copies Text to your clipboard. Paste that on your thread here.

*You may need to alter or remove any URL addresses to paste on forum. You could also place the test results in a code block:

Open chat box - paste test then right click - “select all”. Should highlight everything. Then press the preformatted text button along top of chat box. Looks like this </>.

I play on an Australian server but live in the US. Which IP should I run?

Use the Australian number.

103.4.115.248

Go ahead and run one to the West Coast as well.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

WinMTR is showing no issues. I double checked your DXDiag report. The only thing off I see is you have no sound drivers installed. You are running on Nvidia drivers - missing the motherboard drivers.

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z370-A-PRO#down-driver&Win10%2064

You want the Realtek driver found under Onboard Audio Drivers.

If you haven’t already run the games Scan/Repair tool.

*First run the Battle.net Launcher in Administrator mode - close Launcher. Restart computer to stop all Blizzard processes. Right click the Battlenet desktop icon - select “Run as Administrator” - Then run the Tool.

Tool is found on the Battle.net Launcher. Look for “Options” - directly below the Wow-BfA emblem. The tool is there.

Takes around 5-10 minutes to run.

There was nothing to repair but still getting the error, now pretty much everytime I port somewhere. The first click is always Transfer Aborted: Instance not found and then get right through on the second click.

There is a support page dealing with this error. You might work through that. On the Connection Troubleshooting section open the “Advanced” section. Some things there I know we haven’t tried.

truth is it a bug with new update never happened before but now all time dont be fooled nothing do with your connection or your pc when hundreds people having same issue they wonder why so many people not buying new wow too many bugs

well if all paid members ban together stop playing till bugs out they fix it the instance not found
