When you play World of Warcraft you transfer between a number of different kinds of servers all the time. When you go to switch zones to a new world server but the information doesn’t match this will proc a “Transfer Aborted” error. The most common reasons for this type of error is due to packet loss along the route between you and that world server, or corrupted UI which a UI reset will fix.
What I would recommend to troubleshoot this error is the following steps:

Perform a full User Interface reset.

Power Cycle your network’s modem and router, then once the system is back up flush your DNS cache.

Once you get back into the game try pressing “Esc” → System → Network → Enable IPv6 → Disable the other two options.
Retest. If the issue continues run a WinMTR for 10 minutes when it’s occurring and post the results back here for review.
