I can’t change zones on any of my characters. I get the titled message every time and get warped back to whatever zone I was in when I logged on, or the game just fails to react to anything I do and I cannot interact with anything. This happens in retail as well as hardcore, on every character.

Sounds like your install might be corrupted. To try a repair, close out of WoW if its running, start the Battle.Net launcher, hit the gear icon by the Play button, and select “Scan and Repair”

like Karat said something might have installed wrong.
if it was just retail i would say use the character unstuck feature
I’ve resently reformatted my C drive, and reinstalled battlenet and wow as a whole.
You still want to verify your install. Sometimes there’s static on the internet connection, and even on fiber or cable, installs can and do get corrupted.
It might even be as simple as a batch of packets that got lost.
it’s not you, it was the game. i saw an entire group of people trying to get into a delve portal with the same issue at this time.

I did start a repair action either way, because I’m at a loss as to what else to try regardless lol
