Happens with addons updated. Also happens without addons installed.
Have scanned and repaired. Tried all the connection fixes.
Fails to enter arena ques and battlegrounds. I’m left with the craven debuff.
When leaving instances I’m disconnected.
When looking up this issue on support site; it says it will “go away on it’s own.”
Can someone advise me?
Sounds like a connection issue. or a corrupt cache. Have you tried renaming the cache files to see if the issue is resolved add .bak to the WTF folder and try the game
I’m getting the same error suddenly and it looks like many others are too judging based on the number of forum posts about it over the last 24 hours. I guess we just sit tight while Blizzard hopefully looks into it more.
Nah, this is happening on retail, classic and etc to tons of people. Blizzard is just asinine and not fixing it. Jokes.
Have zero issues with connecting to the servers. More likely a routing issue or a long haul ISP issue
Been having the same transfer aborted issue 2 days in a row now.
Same issue, Cox Communications ISP, So Cal, to Chicago Datacenter. Have not changed any router settings and tried a new cache as well.
I have renamed the interface, wtf, and cache files. Did nothing.
I have no lag, and my ms is fine. Everything is working fine. No issues there. It’s when entering arenas and battlegrounds. Transfer Aborted: Instance not found.
Ditto here, San Diego area / Cox cable. Also getting WOW51900328 errors. Started Friday. Deleted addons/WTF folders, checked game files, no effect. WOTLK classic and SoD both encountering problems.
Also, fun fact: If you are dead and release, then accept a resurrection but the transfer aborts, you appear alive outside of the dungeon wherever your ghost was. This is especially frustrating if you were mid-air flying back to the portal and you just fall to your death again.
Started happening Friday and I had never seen this happen before that. No new mods or changes on my end just countless “transfer aborted: instance not found” and unable to “login error code wow51900328”.
Logins take 2 to 3 tries now before succeeding.
Zoning in to dungeons/raids, hearthing, or teleporting consistently take 2 to 5 attempts before succeeding.
I have tested this on retail, with addons, without addons, and two different NA servers and the symptoms persist.
Location: Southern California
ISP: Cox (and I saw I think 2 others on Cox?..)
Cox cable San diego here as well with same issue. Would a VPN solve the issue? I guess what’s the solution? Has anyone called Cox?
There’s another thread about this, we all seem to be using Cox and everyone in the other thread is playing on the Chicago data center. I’m going to guess that they changed something with routing and it’s caused an issue for us. Could a community rep supply some routing info that we could forward to our ISP?
Having the same issue, cox / San Diego area. Just started this week
I’m using T-Mobile 5g Wireless internet in the Houston, Texas area. I havent had any issues with the service, or with any other games. Even wow is fine for the most poart. Just… Transfer Aborted: Instance not found
Just got off the phone with Cox, the guy said that it’s a known issue on Blizzards side, no workaround available. Don’t think he was kicking the can down the road.
As anyone that’s worked in network operations knows, you always blame the other party when talking to a customer, no matter what the fault is or who it belongs to.
Same, from san diego area with cox. took me 5 tries to get to org. had it happen yesterday when going to hellfire citadel.
Same issue for the past 2 days, Cox in San Diego. I found if I do a /reload it will always load.
Fair enough, honestly as long as they’re now aware there is an issue maybe they’ll start working on it. If other people want to call that would be great.
