Is it possible to learn all the skills of your class?
Yes, but lack of gold during these beginning times will be the limiting factor of how soon you will be able to learn them.
Personally I train the skills I use as they become available.
Not every spell is worth training
train what you use first!
Too vague. Are you having trouble affording all your training. It’s pretty common to forego some weaker/less used abilities to save on funds. Get them later after first mount and such.
All the skills, yes. All the talents, no.
Obviously cost is the primary barrier to learning spells, and talent point distributions affect the effectiveness of said spells. It seems to be best to focus on spells that have immediate use early on. If you want to learn the rest later and play with them, there will be plenty of time for that after you hit level cap.
The problem is a lot of people have a retail mindset. they go from one quest to another. Classic was designed for you to have to “grind” easily sometimes 1 full level or more in zones like westfall. you’ve got to look literally everything and vendor it. If you’re not killing tons more mobs than just what questing requires, you’re going to be broke all the way to 60 after training skills.
only rank up the spells that you use the most, and don’t train any of the fluff spells while leveling.
It’s possible, but you generally want to skip the ones you don’t use at first because of gold.
Also the discount for being honored with a faction will apply to training, so once you hit honored make sure to always train from a class trainer of that reputation.
Honestly I have serious OCD. I bought the first survival skill where you can track animals. I feel like I wasted a skill doing that. Which means one less skill for me to be able to have. I know I’m really weird so it’s why I asked. Thank you all for responding.
I keep running out of bag space. I have 16 + 4 + 6 bag slots right now, and at any given time at least half of those are filled with mana recovery (because I’m a Shaman), various weapons, quest items, bandages, herbs, and cloth. That doesn’t leave much space for disposable items to sell, and without the relatively recent addition of sell prices when you’re not at a vendor, it’s hard to tell what trash has the highest values.
