Training Dummies

Are these set up in any useful way anywhere?

Seems like they’re used more as decorations.

In Boralus the 4 target is right next to the tank dummy so you have to run half way across Boralus to drop combat. The covenants are all over the place with 2, 3, 4, or five target set ups, almost all the single targets dummies are so close to one another you’re going to get extra cleave damage…

Just boggles my mind how something that is supposed to have a useful purpose is routinely set up in a way that negates that purpose.

The ones in SW are pretty spread out. Could try it out there

I know zandalar had some good ones but idk about boralus if they are in a good set up.

If you aoe just right you hit a level 1 rabbit and throw your recount off. Otherwise, I agree they are pretty decent.

Do they scale properly?

I know the ones in the garrison used to be like WoD level mobs and you’d get insane numbers.

I believe they are updated to whatever the current max level is. Just careful on using aoes cause there is a rabbit that will mess up your details if you accidently hit it.

I occasionally mess with people using training dummies.

I’ll whisper them, “Hit it very hard. I’m pretty sure I heard that thing say some stuff about you I can’t repeat. Hit it harder!”

I’ve done that three or four times I think. Only one of them bothered to reply. They said “I’ll hit you very hard!” :joy:

Those are worse than Boralus and Ardenweld

Storm earth and fire go all over the place, tag the tanking dummy and lock you into combat.

I find the most dangerous dummies ( besides trolls that drag mobs to you) are the one near the portal tower of your garrison .They will kill you.

nah they don’t. You’d want current xpac training dummy to actually make it worthwhile. Otherwise it’s just inflated numbers. There’s also the fact that the aoe one will just die in a few hits
