I don’t recall that actually. I think they released meeting stones (which later became summoning stones) and they were complete garbage.
Classic had working summoning stones though.
They became summoning stones around the pre-patch of BC I believe. Which technically was vanilla.
I know asking for training/dps dummies is pushing it.
No it didn’t. Classic had “working” LFG stones. Summoning at instance stones was introduced in the release of TBC.

Patch 2.0.1 TBC pre-patch turned meeting stones into summoning stones. We aren’t launching TBC though…

It was still vanilla though. 
So were 41 point talents if you want to go that route… I don’t think a few days before TBC launch counts bro.

Technically anything pre-TBC launch counts because it’s technically vanilla.
Not really. A pre-patch is just getting ready for an impending expansion that has no way backwards… well… until now of course! But let’s not muddy the waters here. TBC features have no place in Classic. Then it would be TBC…

The fact that the patch that changed it is 2.0.1 (major revision 2, not 1) means it is 100% not Vanilla
