Are Dragon flight metrics that bad that they have force people into rep grinds that are almost as bad as WoD?
Are Dragon flight metrics that bad that they have force people into rep grinds that are almost as bad as WoD?
The joke is that alot of them are older players from vanilla and early expansions who don’t want to do that again.
Why? Because they didn’t have a feature they didn’t know would exist in two years?
Blizzard, how you salvage this turd of an idea:
Turn the “winds” rep gain back on for the first month of the patch and make it include the mole people this time.
Oh well… At least we still have dragonriding…
But yeah, i just brougth only one mount from shop, and this remember for not buying anymore…
Vanilla has awesome maps for travel on foot or mount.
Current Dragonflight zones are lazy designs which makes questing a chore and boring. Same problem with BFA where people did not like questing in Horde areas as much as Alliance. That is because questing areas near huge vertical scale is hard on many other classes that do not have gliding, teleports/jumps to deal with difficult terrain.
Just to clarify this phrase: Will there be Dragonflight zones that traditional flying would not apply?
I wouldn’t have stayed if I joined in vanilla. I am a Wrath baby. I want stuff easy and fast. Plus, I am older now, I have less time, and the time I do have I want to enjoy doing things I find fun. Grinding “renown” is opposite of what I find fun
Just leave it on until the end of expansion.
I already am done on main a long while ago but I do want to scratch that itch of having all classes having all reps at max like I did in legion.
BlizZard told players that they were playing the outdoor content incorrectly with each patch release. Funny but they never mentioned how it should be played…well until they attached horrible rep grinds to them.
Of which are still accessible by dragon, ground, and flight path.
As far as I know.
Old flying won’t be allowed in ZC or the new Dream zone.
But, you need to grind rep and explore those zones to unlock old flying so you can’t use it in those zones.
The problem with “modern” BlizZard is that they take an easy win and turn it into a big fat loss.
Flipping a switch on for TBC flying is an easy win. But modern BlizZArd is afraid of easy wins to make customers happy. I feel sorry for those with motion sickness or disabilities.
Why not put this behind Pathfinder too. Would make as much sense
which contradicts the blue who said on Twitter that was a PTR bug.
if I had know it wasn’t, I likely would have unsubbed and not tortured myself with mole people rep.
whats the reward for completeing it? last few had independent mounts attached. does this one aswell?
According to a guy who knows a guy, who knows a guy, who gets coffee from the same guy as the first guy and rides the same bus says 80% have unsubbed from a game they aren’t playing to not have everything done that is possible. Especially cutting edge that requires things that only come from factions
It was fine before, IMO, but making us earn regular flying when Dragonriding has been here since Day 1 just feels malicious.
TBF you can’t believe what they post on X, formerly Twitter. Half the time one dev doesn’t know what another is saying, and they have to correct later.
BlizZard wants to continue to wage the war on flight because they obviously think Dragon flight is full of players.
But the reality is that retail needs to bring players back and keep players. Not chase them away.
