There will be no community as long as there are 20,000 player realms that scamming Indos can disappear into the woodwork on.
Still, a GM would restore your stuff and ban them within an hour.
Or just buy everything on the AH?
If a deal is too good to be true, itâs probably a scam
While that is usually true. Scam can happen at normal prices too. And things that canât be purchased on the AH. Like enchants, or to a different extent crafts. Because while sure you could only buy crafted items off the AH. Thats is totally inefficient in most cases. AH takes a cut. And more importantly trading just should be secure.
They should have made an interface where you could trade materials for finished goods/ enchants. But they made it a social contract enforced by GMâs. Then removed the GM support.
Hereâs my question. Is there anyway to mess with these scammers. If you call them out they ignore you.
Report them.
I get no personal satisfaction from that. Hell Iâm not even sure it works with the amount of scammers I see
It does but nobody reports them because âreporting doesnât workâ.
The WoW community is awful and most of them cheat(buy gold) and scam people anyways.
I donât see how reporting works when it doesnât even go to a human.
Reporting scammers works when they are tied to accounts people care about. When they are accounts specifically created for nefarious activity, it does little to nothing.
That is why they are saying only deal with the geared-out chars not level 1âs. However often that player is going to do their legit trading on a level 1 bank alt too.
I donât see how reporting works when it doesnât even go to a human.
I think it goes to a human unless you get mass reported in which case the system takes it as an automatic âThis person is badâ unless you contest it.
