Trading Post: You done messed up, Blizz

I’m still trying to figure out why, after over a year, we are still getting barely anything in the way of coins to buy these items, but more importantly, this month, why are we getting ensembles where we can’t purchase those items individually?

So we have an ensemble with a yellow “bikini”, basically but separately we are getting a blue top and bottom… but we can’t buy the yellow one as separate items?

I don’t care about the hat, sandals, or “bracelets”, but the yellow bikini actually looks good, especially on blue skin.

Seriously Blizz, why do this?

Here’s my suggestion going forward: Offer the ensembles just as you have, but at a small discount from buying the items separately. That way, if we like one or two items, we can buy those, but if we like the whole set, we get a small discount for the whole thing.

Also: Give us other ways to earn small amounts of coins. It doesn’t have to be much, maybe another 1k. If you’re going to add THOUSANDS of coins worth of items, you could do us the favor of a way to get a few more.

I’m not looking to buy out the entire shop, but it would be nice to get more than an item or two. That’s not fun, nor interesting to wait an entire month for a huge amount of disappointment.

What you don’t spend this time, you can save and spend next month.
With the Trading Post, everything changes, eventually.

Grats, you’ve missed the point entirely.

Well done.

No problem, you’re welcome!

It’s a good suggestion, I find it a bit annoying myself. Honestly, I think they do that to make it look like there’s more there.

The ensembles are pretty annoying, yeah. I have a ton of (non-Man’ari) draenei characters, so I would’ve liked to buy the yellow getup too, but…yeah, not comfy with letting myself spend that much.

I’m generally okay with waiting until they come back around, but having more ways to earn at least a bit more currency would be nice. Let objectives past the monthly reward give you 10-25 tenders each, or something.

All I wanted were the inner tubes, had to buy the whole ensemble, won’t wear the rest at all lol.

You get 1000. You aren’t meant to buy much. On purpose. So they can rotate stuff back in.

I think all ensembles should be an expandable list for purchasing either the whole set or individual pieces.

I don’t think I bought anything other than mounts, pets, or toys from the Trading Post except the Culling of Stratholme shield.

Like I said, I’m not looking to buy the entire store each month. But only buying ONE item is not an enjoyable experience, especially when one item you would like to have is part of an ensemble that is most of the paltry amount you get each month.

Even 1500 a month would be nice. Most months I don’t even care about most of the transmogs, so a smidge more coins wouldn’t hurt for the few items I WOULD enjoy having.

I have between 1800 and 2000 rolling over every month. Not including the 1000 we earn. I can always buy more than one. But I don’t buy mounts. I don’t feel they’re worth it.

The problem is they continue to add more and more things to ensure people aren’t rolling over too many Tender each month. Add more coins, you’ll see more stuff added to the post. Especially expensive stuff.

Sorry for the late addition edit there.

Yeah, that’s the problem. You’re set because you don’t care about mounts.

I don’t care about ALL of them, but there are a few that are nice. This month is one I’d like to have, and last month was the bee which I still have frozen.

And that’s the thing: Blizz is taking into account all the different ways we spend and save Tender. They keep track of the metrics to see what’s working. They experimented with injecting more Tender and it resulted with high priced class “sets” and more items every month to keep the Tender saving people in check.
