Revved up like a douche*. ![]()
I realized we got the black Vigilante’s Mask this month.
I’m rolling a human rogue and making the Dread Pirate Roberts. Finally gonna use that Mage Tower Outlaw rogue sword.

Well, since we didn’t get the non-uglified version of the Chen Stormstout set from the MoP Classic Sucker’s Collector’s Edition thingy…
… that. ![]()
Jokes aside, just more humble weapons and pieces of gear. More items that are culturally inspired. Less flashy bits; more “this looks like armor someone would actually realistically wear!” things.
And of course I’ll latch onto anything even vaguely Pandaren like a sea lamprey.
Got the eyepatches, nothing else.
See you in September.
This.
I know that many people love the HUGE clunky weapons and shoulders and other armor bits. Shoulders are an issue for me on taurens, it’s why I love the shoulder cape things so much. Anyway, I like weapon models that look like you could actually use them for what they are intended. I like armor models that look like you could actually move and see in them. I use the huge cartoony stuff sometimes. It’s not really my preference.
Snagged the eyepatches, and the black mask was priced right. I’m not a fan of the masks, but a generic black mask will never hurt to have in the kit.
I will be able to have about 400 or so tendies left over after this month, that’s a new record for me. I’ll even be able to buy that diving suit I’ve had frozen for a few months!
Okay, so it’s posted: September Trading Post Post
Think I’ll be saving a little. I will get the Gryphon, but I think I’m good after that.
Yay rainy set : )
And will pick up the gryphon but otherwise I shall keep my tendies
Kinda like that red armor set, the more I look at it. Well, it’s really just the shoulders… but I usually hide plate shoulders in favor of the capes now… but it has capes on the plate. I am confused. I feel like I both should and shouldn’t want it.
But, I need to save the tendies for stuff that coming up.
Honestly it’s alright, I don’t think its anything mind blowing but the armors are neat and the gryphon is cute.
The gryphon is beautiful. Also glad that dwarves and Earthen are getting some transmog love. I like the idea of the Trading Post alternating between different race aesthetics so no style is left untended for too long.
I may grab an armor set or two, as there are individual pieces I can see for future transmog sets. My never-ending quest to mix and match pieces into new sets continues.
Red armor. Between that and the gryphons, I’m doomed.
At least one of the gryphons is the reward for the month. So savings there… BUt it’s not the one I want. lol. I do have a weaken for red sets… I really need to think about this. I’m not good at impluse control.
OMG IT’S DWARF MONTH I’M GOING TO BE FORCED TO SPEND ALL MY TENDERS AND…
Oh.
I don’t like any of it. It’s all too shiny. I like the green gryphon tho and it’s free.
See you in October.
Quite a few things I’d like, though all of the speaker-themed stuff seems… too bright and flashy.
Gryphon and the Bronzebeard armor set, crossbow, mallet, and gavel brings me to 1605 tenders. September will be a deficit, BUT, if I crack and get the Xal’atoes Epic Edition, I can get 2000 tender ready for October stuff.
[scratches chin]
Unless I drop the gryphon because I’m never going to really use it… then it’s 955 for September, 45 tender profit, 2000 epic edition, spend small in October because we all know housing decor will be part of the trading posts once housing drops…
Forgot today was trading post day.
The ceremonial gear does look pretty legit on my Dwarf, but as always - if I’m being honest, would I ever wear it? Nope.jpg
Looked through everything repeatedly. Zero purchases. oof.
I admire your ability to look at something and go “I’m not gonna use this at all ever.” Because I see a weapon and I very much want it in the off off off chance I use it.
