You want their character to look how YOU want it in an MMO.
You’re right you don’t want to TELL them, you want to FORCE them to comply. That’s much better for sure

lol, what?
How would it force anyone to comply? They would still appear as they want to both themselves and anyone not using the (literally optional) toy. I’m not sure what you mean.
I can already use a toy to make anyone appear in their skivvies, why is this asking for too much?
I bet you are fun at parties!
I think swimwear is adequate for WoW. There are beaches and resorts all over the world.
Gnomish/Goblin engineering can justify the water gun.
Floaties have been around for years.
I understand it cannot be everyone’s cup of tea, but to claim it ruins the immersion is…weird.
I can’t believe this is the biggest thead, or I can, but I don’t want to, I don’t know anymore.
I mean… with some of what has been said here, you’d think they haven’t seen a pool pony!
Using those as an example is kind of weird considering its a tongue in cheek pop culture reference about creepy guys wanting to undress women without consent. (Obviously the toy is a silly little joke version that keeps underwear and weapons on.)
Just like its weird you want to sterilize everyones appearance around you to fit your very narrow idea of how people should look
You play a paladin.
You play a game with Mages and Druids and fairies.
And you’re saying a bathing suit is too whimsical?
What, my Orc can’t enjoy his Summer vacation in Pandaria?
Change my posting character just for this thread.
All I want to say is: This mog exists, and has existed, for quite some time BEFORE this so called fortnite stuff
existed.
Endgame for some players is raid to get better loots and higher spreadsheet numbers.
Endgame for others is to look fabulous.
… and just to be clear, even some of the “In universe” appearances look pretty wildly out of place except in their own little contexts.
You can’t have a magical girl outfit on and say Blizzard is ruining the look of the game for adding bathing suits.
So obviously you’re just this person then.
No, it’s not weird to point out that there are already items that functionally do the same thing but slightly more even.
So anyways. Put a toy in the game that just negates mogs. It’s a fair idea and anyone with good intentions wouldn’t have a problem with it.
You are literally dressed as a silly jester clown and im in full monochrome paladin themed plate gear. I assume you dont actually have a point and are just arguing for fun
And people should be able to hide that if they want. I don’t play this character in game though so they wouldn’t need to.
I just find it odd that you’re so aggressively against this when even the RPer above was like “yeah go for it, I’d just like to know that it’s active.”
My remix panda shammy is enjoying healing heroic raids in her swimsuit. I’m sure that the players in the party are reassured by how great she looks. Sun’s out, guns out
Nice troll Betty boobop
I created this account on day one of vanilla and it has never been serious.
I agree, the beach transmog is ugly, I would NEVER buy and use it
