That’s literally been the goblin aesthetic since… probably Classic? But definitely since Cataclysm, that sort of cheesey 1940s-1960s pin-up vibe. Honestly people are just being mad over nothing IMO.

Tbh, the writing has been going downhill since they realized they could make a sequel to WC1, then it got exponentially worse post-MoP, then even WORSE post-Legion… and somehow even worse after Shadowlands…
I sometimes wonder of people look at all the older items in the game. There are tons of gear items that were just silly or fun. Wrath came Blizzard stopped putting in these little fun gear items. I am so happy to see town clothing and fun items make a come back because this is an RPG so having these little items makes the world feel more alive. Seeing someone transmogged like Qamaits in a dungeon or raid would make me smile. Just the whole “I took a wrong turn to the beach party” cracks me up.
I am bummed that there was no updated version of Kurkenstoks for this.

Everytime there’s a new TP month, this stupid thread pops up on GD. It’s getting to be a tradition.
I’ve been to these places before. However 99% are goblins.
Honestly I like June’s items. I already got the flying surfboard and the swimwear sets.
I honestly would love to see more stuff for plate, cloth, leather armor mouth, or a theme that we see in game ex. Expansion kind of themes, something that dives more in-game. That being said if you don’t like what in the trading post you don’t have to get it.
This is the most I have spent in months.
The beach stuff is no worse than these giant shoulderpads and some of the over the top cartoon/anime weapon designs. Like most of the weapons look like blizzard went shopping at toys r us. Even watching some scenes of the lich king he talks like he should be twirling a mustache odiously.
Also being a grey fox made the mop training scene has totally made me remember people screaming about mop being kung fu panda, by making it kung fu panda 4.
It’s almost like WoW is a fantasy and IRL history is irrelevant.

In Twilight Highlands, Horde has a quest where they rescue goblins from an oil rig by throwing pool floaties at them.
