Trading Post Seems FFXVI Flavored

As someone who’s wanted more generic adventurer mogs and more dresses to dress my characters up in, it’s been a nice change imo. And it means OP can keep saving tenders for when something finally comes out that they like.

OP said FF16, not sure why so many people are bringing up FF14.

Because 14 is the anime barbie game and we’re assuming title is a typo.

Says the Barbie of WoW. :joy:

Uh, yeah. Glad WoW is finally catching up.

I’m pro anime aesthetic.

First, the WoW devs would have to learn what normal humanoid bodies look like. Even the Barbies and Kens of WoW (belves/velves) look incredibly ugly compared to the models of FF14. Completely disproportionate. Especially with the men in WoW, you almost always have clunky bodies on steroi***… and… whatever male Night Elves are supposed to be. With the women, it’s at least a little better.

I would say that the races themselves in WoW are more creative, but in terms of appearance, especially the humanoid races, which are supposed to be “beautiful”…oof

Yeah they realized the gameplay is bad so might as well exploit the people who like to be a pretty girl

If you read up a bit you’ll find I already admit that I misread the post. I’m aware of my mistake.

That Sky Captain’s set screams BLU.

I think I’ll indulge and finally swap off of my Vestment of the Shifting Sands.

Hey, sorry, notifications are borked. But I do play both, and XIV is def the Barbie game to me of the two. Complete with the Dream House and Convertible.

Just glad we’re getting cute stuff over here more.

Listen… There’s nothing I can do on this earth to make me as pretty as a draenei. I’m already insecure about it.

Ann Taylor only wishes they were this cool!!!

We need more fake dragon cosplay items, see we already got the wings. So we could use some dragon horns and a tail.

Variety is wonderful. Unfortunately, when I look at the trading post stock I’m not seeing much in the way of variety.

This is all well and good, but that doesn’t mean they need to stop having stuff for the high fantasy crowd. A shift in focus does not equal variety.

The mail tabards were completely new textures to game.

The shoulder shawls are completely new models to the game.

The hood/cloak combos have been very color expansive.

The class specific sets/weapons were full of new models to the game.

The warden sign changes with the day/night cycle.

We’ve seen stuff in the shop that we’ve never had in the game, and it’s 20 years old. I totally get not seeing something that you want on a particular month though. It’s variety even if there is a bunch that I’ll never use (like weaksauce caster items because real men use steel and fists).
