Trading Post Seems FFXVI Flavored

FF14 is good.

I feel like you’ve not played a lot of the side content in FFXIV. Also there are a lot of colorful and happy glamor sets in FFXIV. I know, I own a few.

no im talking about ff16 not ff14.

XVI means 16

XIV is 14.

It could be an unfortunate typo in the title. I did assume they meant 14.

It’s my favorite genre of game: Spend 5 minutes watching a cutscene, then go talk to someone else to initiate another 5 minute cutscene, then go get sent on an errand that diverges into another errand and then after 3-4 hours I get to do one (1) trial where I finally get gameplay.

It gets good 500 hours in.

Oh my apologies, Misread your post. Brain didn’t quite register it right :dracthyr_crylaugh:

All major MMOs probably base seasonal gear from the same source and thus look similar. Gotta keep up with the times, and I guess the people in-charge of doing that get the inspiration from the same places :stuck_out_tongue:

TP is temporary, fast-cooked rolling content to keep up with real-world trends.

The half-cape thingie for the shoulder has been more or less directly taken from Zenos in ff14. Just in blue. :joy: Only in ff14 it looks significantly better, but I guess WoW just won’t be able to get a decent 3D armor with the old engine.

Whereas literally every single month, other than the last two, is straight meathead stuff for cavemen. Not everyone wants to look like a gladiator or something. The mog in this game is typically terrible. Thanks to last month finally offering something good, just look at my character.

Hmmmm

She seems to have a rather
pasta-esque quality to her physical appearance. A
 noodle-elf, if you will.

If you think that’s bad just wait until the internet explodes when FF reaches 30 :dracthyr_sweat:

Bunny ears all year around when?

Listen, Listen.

We all know that the Gnomes, Mechagnomes, Goblins and Lightforged engineers are working together to build a massive Mecha/Gundam like army that will march across Azeroth.

And Magical girls around Azeroth will have to band together to stop them. The fight will be brutal, and it will spill over into other games. ESO will be the first to fall, it has no defense against the mechs. Guild wars 2 will survive for a while
but in the end it will be up to WoW and FFXIV to save us all.

Adjusts tinfoil weeb hat :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Oh yeah. I love how absurdly, mind numbingly, boring the gameplay is until savage content. Feels great to have in a video game.

The mask is reminicent to Suramar.

The colors of stuff is of course spring related.

But hey,if you’re set on everything being FF,maybe go play that instead.

Eww
no. In that case, they would look hot and above all, have normal humanoid bodies, which is definitely not the case with the disproportionate WoW models. And the faces of Dracthyr
 yikes xD

Yes, yes, the valentines magical girl outfit was and is silly.

Literally everything that isn’t associated with that is just normal stuff. The gowns are HD versions of old Vanilla gear. The cloaks and scarves are generic adventurer looking stuff and WoW lacks a LOT of that post-vanilla, so it’s nice to have options there.

The Sarongs are kinda bad, in that it’s a flat texture and the texture itself isn’t even that good, but the concept of having more “normal” stuff in the Trading Post is not bad and has absolutely nothing to do with FF.

I’m not too bothered. After last month, I have zero currency left so all I could really afford is the mount and a random thing like a cloak. Rough month for collectors.
