Why do some forum posters want the ability to buy everything in the trading post even when blizzard themselves explicitly said you’re not supposed to buy everything? Plus, certain items will rotate back in it’s not like it’s gonna be gone forever and never gonna return.

People only want everything when they can’t have it. If you could do all the chores and get all the trading post stuff most people wouldn’t.

because a small but very vocal minority of players feel they deserve everything someone else has, even if it trivializes a lot of time and effort others put into something.

You guys make posts like that these that act as a dampener against player requests for more ways to earn tender in-game, but all the while their means of acquisition through real money only increases. What is even the point of this post?

I’m just saying, the shoe absolutely fits.
Because there is a set of people who require instant gratification all the time.
These are the folks who after waiting for a release, spend two solid days zipping through everything and then saying they are bored, rather than pacing things out.
Sane people pace it out and have other things to do in their lives.
Some people want the whole cake, others are happy with a slice and more to eat in the future.

It’s not FOMO, strictly speaking, because these things will likely be back later. The Trading Post is designed to cater to the “I need all the things” crowd. That’s different from the people who will, for instance, buy a carry for the AotC mount, which will be removed forever.
