Trading Post Junk - Is this what we want?

The tier of gear from the trading post has gone down significantly. Has anyone else been disappointed that they just recolor the same junk gear from months before?

They clearly have no standard of items when they released Tyrael Charger, a mount that originally was a one of a kind release from Diablo.

Why not put those old Elite PVP sets or transmogs from old content like legion or WoD on there. Just put a high value price on them. Less of the boring junk you get at a swap meet or someones yard sale.

A lot of people will say its free/optional cosmetics and to not give it much thought. That being said - I’d love to see some bloody flying mounts.

It’s free junk, but what’s with all the pirate nonsense that hardly anyone uses?

Tyraels charger was a one of a kind mount that you had to pay $60 for the limited edition of diablo to get then they threw it on the trading post.

The same can be said for Cindermane Charger. It was a recruit-a-friend item that they also allowed anyone to get.

The best Trading post gear I tend to find near the bottom. The stuff at the top and the middle tend to be horrific. Recolour or not.

I wasn’t really impressed with the items too.

So save up the tenders.

They went for the Pirates this month. I am on moon guard so all the RP players were very excited.

The weapon were also pirate design.

Nothing to buy this month.

The worst part is its september close to halloween even. The recolor of the pirate set alone is so low key its tacky. Players want to look decent not wacky tacky tie day.

Notice how even the pirate gear is like box cutter items/inflated versus something with a sharp edge. I cant cut butter but i can stir a huge pot with these items.

TP is to incentivize people to stay subbed. So I’d assume that when there’s a dry period and subs are tanking then that’s when they’ll push out the cooler stuff

Why not a real hook for a hand item then? That would be a nice transmog.

Imagine having an actual boat mount like the one used in Thousand needles. Not a flying one but one you can ride the waves in.

I am not feeling too much interest in it. Haven’t ever really cared for pirates either lol so that’s a part of it. The croc mount is super cool but they had to put a treasure chest saddle on it. :sweat_smile: thank goodness we get it for only playing.

Of course they got everyone in with the launch so why do they need to keep up with the trading post.
