90% of the items every month are flowery frilly butterflies and boxy strange recolors of bad mogs no one farms. I’m honestly at a point where I’m going to stop getting excited to see the reveals. Can we get some cool gritty Warcraft stuff?
Edit: 90% was an exaggeration after seeing March’s selection and not really liking any of the past couple months aside from the steampunk stuff. I didn’t expect people to get so offended by this.

February, despite being during Valentines, really didn’t have a lot of love-themed stuff and had a ton of returning items from past months.
January was almost entirely steampunk.
December was almost entirely winter themed.
November was Sylvanas transmog and then spiky, barbaric-looking class sets.
I don’t see the hard evidence to support “90% flowery frilly butterflies”.
I also don’t get what you gamer-gaters think that “gritty” means. Have you considered that grittiness is a drug with diminishing returns?

Agreed, Trading Post is lacking lately

I am sure this sounded really cool in your head when you were writing it out.
To the point of the OP: yeah the TP on average seems to be a total wash. I am less interested in these pieces than I am the random weapons they also add to the shop, which usually has at least something that isn’t super fruity. Fortunately TP isn’t a main draw of the game. That being said, it would be nice if there was better offerings listed for sure.

Gotta overexaggerate otherwise people wont take me seriously!
Could you imagine if i said “trading post is falling off hard. 5% of the time it has things i don’t like”

There has been a weird amount of butterfly themed stuff especially if we compare it to other insects. Which imo are sorely underrepresented.

I see what you mean. But I don’t think they are really meant to represent butterflies. More like standing in for something else? Representing something? Can’t find the word I’m looking for.
On the plus side, there’s a giant cockroach renting a room in Undermine. Insects have rights!

Stg we had threads like this exactly a year ago where people were complaining about too many flowers and such. In spring.
March is the beginning of spring. Butterfly motifs make sense.
And besides, if you don’t like anything on the post, that’s all the more reason to save your tender to buy stuff when you see something you do like.

We have threads like this quite literally every month. That is not an exaggeration. It’s routine at this point.

Oh.
Well, there REALLY IS a giant cockroach renting a room in Undermine. Give the place some character.

In December it was candy cane swords and other wild goofy colorful junk. There have been a few really cool sets, yet the majority seem to be very ridiculous looking.

Sounds like excellent options.

So the sets always need to be nature/weather themed? lol

It makes sense they’re thematic to the month.
As someone else mentioned, I guess you missed January when the trading most was entirely steampunk stuff.

That month was super dope tbh. The only month in a long time I wanted almost everything. Maybe that’s why it’s this stark falling right back into the months of super goofy frilly stuff.

i didnt feel the love in feburary
I spend all of my tender every single month. There’s always something interesting, something worth collecting, something worth adding to my transmog wardrobe. I’m not always wowed, but, I’ve never just skipped an entire month.
And everything I write sounds really cool in my head. That’s why I write it. Your cringe makes you feel bad, not me.
