Eyepatches!

I don’t like the chess set either or all the skirts. Seems like an odd direction that’s kind of out of touch but whatever. We finally got eye patches though for all classes. That’s a huge W. As a plate wearer I’m sure there’s a few out there than I can get but require some effort to do so. Now though, I just got it. Not one, but two. I could care less about all the other stuff or how it affects my perception of world of Warcraft’s aesthetic. I got an an eye patch now. I can just turn my blind eye to all that stuff i don’t like.

Game literally has a chess game boss fight.

Community: “This chess armor is just so out of left field!”

Tbh the “odd direction” moment with TP was onesies and sweatsuits lol. Chess armor is more on theme than that garbo.

I want cosmetic head slots asap.

It’s not an eye patch IMO, if you cant use any other head gear, it may as well be a helm.

Ill give you maybe a set of chess armor for sake of argument but an entire months worth of mogs dedicated to it? A boss from around 15 years ago? It’s a stretch to say thats the reason. There’s probably 200 bosses out there, just because it’s a previous asset doesn’t justify it the way that arguments made out to be. There’s not even a relevancy to kharazan with anything going on right now

You are on point about the eye patches though. Solid mogs especially the black one.

I’m glad there was something you like and will use. There’s a difference between being a Trading Post Hater and being disappointed by what is available for the month and expressing your disappointment. It’s ok, though, life goes on. I just think this month’s trading post sucks.

I look at the Trading Post as free stuff. It takes a week to fill the bar, ding, go shopping and move on. it’s fun, like a little perk.

The head slot could honestly be split into three different cosmetic slots, hats face and neck. Mog a top hat with an eye patch and a scarf around the neck

Or even just eyepatches as a cosmetic barbershop option, since we alreayd have both eye blindfolds… eye patches as an additional option just kinda makes sense, give it the same color customizations and more as the other base race looks, while we’re at it, add more colors to those too.

Every game of chess with me is iconic, mostly cause I have zero idea how this works, can never figure it out, and eventually just flip the table and board out of sheer frustration.

I think the problem arose when they started to integrate RL politics into the game and trading post, this was certainly the shark-moment.

The chess sets are well done and are for casual gamer perfect. Some random flavor with no tie to the lore, it looks fancy and special.

On the one hand, the masks and eyepatches are cool. On the other hand, I would have appreciated it if the “midnight” ones were actually dark, not something that looks like it’s been old-school hand washed so many times the color is all but washed out.
