Trading Post Gave me Two Pets

I went to the Trading Post to buy this month’s pet, Rud – uh, I mean Mitzy.

And when I got the new pet, a Crystalline Mini-Monster was added to my pet roster, in addition to Mitzy.

Not that I’m complaining. I’m all about free pets.

But where does this Crystalline Mini-Monster come from? Is this some sort of bug or did the Devs give us a Christmas present as a bonus?

It is the achieve award for getting 1200 unique pets.

This pet isn’t from the Trading Post. It’s an achievement reward, specifically the 1200 unique pets achievement.

So a plausible cause would be that adding Mitzy to your collection was the 1200th unique pet in your collection, triggering the achievement and awarding the other pet.

Thanks very much. Mitzy was simply #1200 unique pets in my collection.
