Trading Post feedback

So there have been a few months here and there where the Trading Post items were so-so (they weren’t even bad, they just weren’t personally my cup of tea… not because it was too hardcore, or too wishy washy or flowery or colorful, but because it was just a bit too drab for my liking…), but I’m loving this month’s items. :innocent:

I know not everyone has the same taste and it’s all subjective but I just thought I’d offer some positive feedback where, instead of just telling Blizzard what we don’t like, we can hopefully tell them what we love and what to do more of.
:skull: :chains: :axe:
For what it’s worth, I’m loving this month’s stuff and I absolutely would love to see the Trading Post going more in this direction while offering plenty of options for players of all different kinds of tastes (the butterfly-lovers, the flower-lovers, the hardcore-death and skeletons lovers, etc). :womans_clothes::purse::nail_care:t2:

Just leaving a thumbs up. Hope you’re all doing well.

Last months was terrible first month in a long time I didn’t buy anything and just accepted the free mount for completing the bar, this months is really nice especially if you have a couple forsaken characters

I think it’s good that there’s variety. Lets people save some tenders when the TP for some months are not their thing.

I hate that the mount on the TP this month is a ground mount though.

It amused me when I saw people praising this Trading Post for going “back to WoW aesthetics” with the Forsaken theme and that there are no more flowers and butterflies…

But there are literally flowers all over this Forsaken stuff.

I think this month looks awesome. Not going to wear it but it’s cool. :tshirt::robot:

I’ve seen the new resto druid visuals. I’m not even surprised anymore.

I’m pretty pissed about those visuals, TBH. Mostly at Tranquility.

I like this months, the theme is cool. Why is it july? It should have been October.

Now when october is some not spooky thing all the haloween fans will flood the forums to complain.

Same. I love the current visuals. Why are there butterflies when I’m casting regrowth and rejuvenation?

The new stuff is great, until you realize the mounts can’t fly. They use the same rigging as the Paladin class hall mounts, and some other horses, why can’t they? The flying horse mounts are soooo fun.

At this point in the game’s life cycle I can count on one hand the times that you can even really use ground only mounts, they are utterly outdated.

Yeah! I just realized it’s a ground mount. Well, poop. Spoke too soon… haha! ^.^

Oh well. I’m still happy with my purchases. My Trader’s Tender balance went down real fast with this month’s stuff. >.>

But I wish they’d make all Trading Post mounts flying mounts. If there’s an area we can’t fly in, we can still use those mounts, but if we want to use ground mounts in areas where there’s flying, we won’t be able to fly… which kind of makes otherwise beautiful mounts kind of useless.

Now I really, REALLY hope they somehow reverse their decision and make this mount a flying one and just change it in a small mini patch or something because it’s so, so pretty! : D

The new charger mount they added for the greedy emissary event is a flying mount. idk how they decide which horse mounts can fly and which ones are grounded.

I disagree. I do not like this month’s selections. The swords look like something out of Minecraft. The jello mount where you can see the horse bones is lame. I am sorry. The only thing that is close to “okay” is that diving outfit.

Well, the new one they added has wings.

I hope that helps.

exactly, OP! to each their own. just because a month’s selection isn’t what you want, doesn’t mean someone else might not be excited. i thought about a few of the items but since i wasn’t WILD about the stuff, i ended up not buying anything…

that being said, my trading post feedback? we need more tenders!

My feedback is they should put returning items on a secondary farmable currency (e.g. acquired from repeatable tasks in the Log after filling the bar). The whole point of returning items is because you missed out on them the first time because you didn’t have enough Tenders. But if they’re adding new (presumably just as attractive) items along with the returning ones, then you might not have enough Tenders again. It’s just a player-unfriendly cycle while a farmable currency can increase player engagement, especially if there’s a “random item from 6+ months ago” option.

Current currency = new items, “want it now” people
Farmable currency = returning items, “can wait a year+” people

Also, add a cash-out option for those who don’t spend their Tenders. Can be for gold but also certain farmable things (e.g. old rep, honor, valorstones, pet stones, heirloom upgrades, holiday tokens, etc.).

I don’t think I bought much, if anything, last month, but this month’s Trading Post fleeced me.

They even included pyjamas! I love cozy PJs! :two_hearts: :womans_clothes: :jeans: :thong_sandal: :dizzy:

I love transmog that’s not typically something you’d wear to a raid but stuff that’s more RP or fun or cute or silly.

And with player housing on the way (I hope it’s fairly easy to get them and not some long or grindy quest chain), I welcome that sort of thing! :womans_hat: :purse: :boot: :dress:

The cost is starting to get a little high for items I might want. That purple armor set for 700 tenders seems a little steep. I never really paid attention to the prices but bought more than usual last month and asking myself if 700 isn’t a little too much for what u are getting.

wish we had the option to remove the flowers
