Trading post error

Btw, my first account got the bread crumb quest 3 times but my second one only once - so maybe things are improving.
It took more than two weeks to fix the chest/tender issue last month - lets hope it will take less time now.

Had like over 2k tenders saved up last month now I have 0 and opening the chest does nothing. Good job Blizz

Bummer. I figured it was likely just a coincidence for me, but figured I’d throw it out there and see if it helped. Can you attempt to submit a bug report from both accounts? When I was having the issue, my main account said it “couldn’t load the page, exit and try again.” Now, weirdly, it’s my second account with that issue.

I also had this issue start today while trying to purchase the Magenta Cloud Serpent mount. As I posted in another thread in the Technical Support forum, this is what ended up resolving the issue for me and letting me purchase the mount:

I was finally able to purchase the Magenta Cloud Serpent. Here is what worked for me:

  1. Moved my Cache, WTF, and Interface folder to a temporary folder on my Desktop.
  2. Logged into WoW and let it recreate the folders I moved.
  3. The Traders cache was outlined again for me (I already picked up my traders tender this month). I opened the chest and it said I got 500 Traders Tender but my actual total did not go up.
  4. I talked to the NPC and purchased the mount. The transaction went right through without any issues.
  5. Verified that the mount was available in the journal and that I was able to use it.
  6. Logged out and copied my original folders back into the WoW directory to restore my AddOns and put back the configuration information in the WTF folder.

Seeing that I had previously removed my Cache and WTF folder but only disabled my AddOns, I am guessing the issue has something to do with the AddOns. I am wondering if I didn’t get them all turned off before and just the out of date ones got disabled.

Hope this can help others that have this problem.

Congrats on your mount! this didn’t work for me, I’m still getting the errors. will just have to wait until they fix it I guess…

If you open a ticket and get a different response than me let me know, but they basically told me tough luck… said they couldn’t do anything

Just resubbed after a long hiatus, getting the same error and nothing seems to work, nice game.

This is still an issue. Didnt have this problem before, but hey! Now im a part of the club! Bet you if this issue involved RMT for these coins it would of been fixed in hours not months?

Like one of the previous posters, I just resubbed after being gone for several months. I can’t purchase anything. :frowning:

i too am having issues buying anything on the trading post now even though i didnt before

strange, cause i bought stuff this month at the beginning of the month but now i cant anymore?

Seems to be a global issue, when attempting to open the chest it does the animation but doesn’t give or do anything afterwards.

I have 100 credits, when I try to buy something worth 100 credits it just keeps loading and then eventually gives me a communication error.

No Trader’s Tender for me either, despite completing several objectives that should be awarding it. Chest opens, nothing is given, on multiple characters, both factions.

Who do we have to petition to get Blizzard to hire coders who have some knowledge of coding? Is this a “wait for Microsoft to take over” thing?

I also cannot buy anything on the trading post and just get the server connection errors.

the latest response, this time from a helpful GM: "This is your friendly neighborhood Game Master Lograldon. I hopped onto Alogama to take a look into this and the same thing was happening for me, so something is definitely not working properly.

That being said, customer support does not have the ability to fix bugs as we have let you know. We have sent up a report about this on our side here already, and if you have done the same on your side, it would be up to the develeoprs to figure out what the issue is and get it fixed up."

This is also happening for me. Very annoying bug.

I’ve had this problem as well and able to fix it… On the Battle net dashboard - WoW - next to the big play button is the cog wheel… 4th from the bottom is the scan and repair… I don’t like using that option but it worked!

Tried it out, and unfortunately it did not work for me.

this is 21st day of April and this issue has been reported repeatedly by many for 21 days. It was fixed last month on day 14 but not this month. Blizz - plse wake up!

Just resubbed a few days ago and went to collect tender. Opened the chest, got nothing, said my tender was at 0, which I know I still had some left over from last month. Logged in next day, tender was there, but not sure if I got the collection from the chest, probably not.

Going on day three, and still cannot buy anything from the vendors, getting the same error message as everyone else here. Would like to be able to buy things before the month is over and I end up missing out because of an error outside of my control.

EDIT: Tried the Scan and Repair route just out of hope that it might work for me and I’m not sure how but it did fix the issue for me! It might be worth a try if others are still suffering from this bug.
