I collected my 1000 coins from the trading post for this month.
I have continued to complete tasks from my adventure journal but despite getting pop ups for completion I have not received any additional currency as credit.
I filed a bug report and read the following on blizzards bug report response
“During a month you can currently earn 1000 Trader’s Tender per Battle.net region; 500 for having an active WoW account, and 500 for completing Traveler’s Log activities in-game.”
Does that mean that the currency cap for the Trading post is 500 coins? so no matter how many tasks you complete from the adventure journal you don’t get any additional coins?
Im confused, cause if there is no additional currency then its kinda a waste of time to do additional tasks no?
That’s correct. After you fill the bar, that’s it. Everything else is just kind of extra. They exist so that people have some variety on how they want to approach it.
Then why offer so many various tasks? That makes no sense.
Why not just give a standard 20 tasks each month, mine 50 or this fish 20 of that, kill 3 raid bosses etc…
Whats the purpose of having so many adventure tasks or still getting popups when you get absolutely nothing for it? Its just stupid poorly implemented. It would make more sense for every 2 tasks to give 1 coin rather than takes to give absolutely nothing.
Both months I’ve made zero attempt to even look at and complete the tasks. I completed the meter in 3 or 4 days both times. How boring. It’s supposed to be a month-long thing. But, it’s not even a week’s worth of play.
If you have to do everything to max it out, and it includes a task to do pet battles, current raids, keystones, and making gold via the AH, then it tells people that this thing that’s supposed to be a fun side activity that gives you cosmetics isn’t for everyone based on the other content you do.
