I think other than Bandolier, there wasnt really much I was interested in. Luckily I can just hold onto the currency till the stuff swaps out next month (if im correct that we dont lose our currency) Trading post is a nice way of bringing out the unused assets that have been sitting in data.
I do like the fact that it encourged running old content too. Now if they could just balance out BFA raids for soloing but thats for a different thread
So, see, this is where Iâm confused. You say this, but then also say:
A few things:
You can complete the entire monthâs worth of trading post crap in a day. Then itâs done for the month and you move on with your life.
The trading post crap is stuff youâll get done anyways unless you consume no content in the game whatsoever. Which begs the question ofâŠ
If all you care about is logging in, doing as much as you can in a month or less, and then unsubscribing, what exactly are you getting from the game? Your presence is not noticed because it comes and goes; you donât stay invested, you donât keep things like the game economy or content queues rolling, but youâre angry that Blizzard wants to keep people playing and engaged with content, even if that means adding healthy barriers to progress? Which leads toâŠ
What is with this obsession with unhealthy grinding? I say this as someone who is a fan of the idea of being able to grind a rep as much as I want without limits of dailies/weeklies, but if that mentality pervades your entire gameplay experience, how is WoW a game you even enjoy?
the cosmetic choices are genuinely a joke. its literally just reskinned or ancient items that have been in the game for an eternity. spectral horse thats been in WoW for ⊠23049823 years? ok. recolored staff? okâŠ
idk
its not that great and you cant even collect everything so CHOOSE WISELY
I enjoyed the items from the trading post. My husband bought himself the Celestial mount on his account, and I bought almost all the transmog items with my currency.
I actually almost hearted this. I literally never give hearts and yet this almost made me do it.
I legit want this more than anything else in the trading post I thinkâŠand not because I find it to be that good of a mountâŠbut I sooooooooooooo want to see the legit rage if/when it ever happens. I will enjoy each and every thread about it.
Thatâs actually more of a reason for them to place it in the TP. Blizzard is not selling those cards, people who bought them up when they were cheaper to resell them are.
We can already get them in-game from time to time through the BMAH.
This is the silliest argument and hill to die on⊠You could say the same about any piece of content in the game then. So I guess they should charge us and add nothing?
i bought the bow xmog this time around, it looks pretty cool. maybe next month will have more stuff.
Itâs an answer to games like Lost Ark and their âget stuff just for playingâ concept, I donât think its intended to be some play-changing mechanic.
Do you not understand exactly what the trading post does?
Maybe iÊ»m the one who dosenÊ»tâŠ
The way I understand it, the trading post has items that you can no longer get in the game any other way. (until they add some other game feature to do that) Optional items that have no impact on your gameplay
If you donât like what is offered this month then try this complex workaround:
open the vendor window
peruse the items, decide you donât like what is offered
