Trading Post - Are you able to earn enough Trader's Tender to obtain all items for the month?

Sorry if this has been answered already. I hit the 1,000 and got the mount but now the tasks no longer show rewards so I assume that there is a cap? So you have to choose which mogs / items you want or does this cap reset weekly?

There is no limit and the tokens rollover to next month, so whatever you have left over can go over 1000.

Also I doubt you’ve done EVERYTHING. PVP? Raid? Mythic+?

There are a few holidays coming up to get some more tokens too.

FYI if you pre-ordered, you get ANOTHER 500 from the chest making it 1000 in total!

It caps at 2k. I haven’t been able to get more than that, and even the numbers go away on the activity list.

No I haven’t done every activity but I completed enough to earn the Ash’adar mount. But now activities do not show any numbers next to them like 50, 100, 200, etc. for completing them so I was just wondering if they are locked now.

I think so, but you can still earn them and go to the chest to pick up more tokens I assume? I wouldn’t know considering Moon Guard people think standing around the Trading Post is an olympic sport.

Once you complete the bar you are done for the month.

There’s a cap. You’re not intended to be able to buy all the things each month. So choose wisely.

I mean, I’ll get enough for the tiger mount. Purple staff might be something I grab.

Not sure how much the rest interests me. Ogre kid maybe.

You can however choose one item and drop it in the “freeze” box so it doesn’t get rotated out in March.

That was the only thing I wanted.

Hm okay I figured this was the case considering the “freeze” option they give you. Thanks

Honestly this kind of disappoints me - I was hoping that if you wanted to earn every item in the month you could continue to perform the log tasks to earn additional currency (past the amount required for the kitty mount) - Incentivizing players to keep doing stuff throughout the month to keep earning additional rewards - Even after the mount had been earned.

That way people could keep earning currency for as much or as little of the monthly content as they cared to purchase. I’m big into cosmetics, so I’d be on the BUY IT ALL! side - But I see several people in this thread mentioning only 1 or 2 items interest them, so let our personal interest dictate our commitment.

As it is now, this is just a once per month “done in 2 hours” thing so… that got boring quick.

I’m also concerned for next month because it seems like this month had a lot of bonus currency that won’t always be there in the long run…

I’d LIKE to spend all the currency I earned this month on THIS MONTH’S available rewards - But this month you could earn 1500 through regular means + Another 500 for owning dragonflight. And 500 of the 1500 was for doing an intro quest to the trading post I ASSUME won’t be repeatable?

So how much can we normally expect to earn per month? 1000? (Assuming the intro quest and the dragonflight bonus won’t be there)

For me the mount and the pet are the big draws - After that it’s lots of random transmog gear - This month the mount was 950 - The pet was 750 - Does that mean if we want next month’s mount and pet we need to save at least 700 currency for rollover from Feb into March?

I don’t like having to construct a budget and weigh my expenditures/balance month to month - What am I doing WoW taxes now??

Just let us keep earning currency while there are still rewards to buy on the table! Why are you gating fun cosmetic rewards??

theres no cap but 2k cause thats all you get for the awards

Are the tenders account wide? If so I have no regrets about buying the horse.

Yes. I didn’t get the horse as I already have it. The only thing I wanted and got was the battle pet.

Items will rotate back eventually. There is no FOMO for now.

Wish I had the answer. The cap certainly isn’t 2k, as I went over that yesterday (cumulatively), but I didn’t do any further logs after I hit the monthly reward and got my glowing sabercat. I’ll be testing later today when I get back home, to see if I still get stuff in the box after doing more logs.

I don’t think there is a cap for the amount of tenders you can have in your “pocket”, but there is a cap on the amount you can earn per account each month. The activities were made in a way everyone (even casuals) can reach the cap without forcefully having to do dungeons, raids or pvp. So you can choose what you want to do rather than -having- to do this or that. They said the items will rotate and eventually come back so they will be attainable in future dates and you can also use the freezing option in case you really want something.

Tenders are account wide. So items you want are obtainable by any toon as long as one has earned the coins to buy them. So if there’s nothing for your hunter but some good stuff for your mage, you are fine.

I think right now the best strategy for this is to freeze the higest price item and buy as many items as possible. If your intention is quantity, start from the cheapest.
