Hi. As the title says, i would like to know if it’s possible trade between characters of different fractions that are yours ( knowing that send mails from on faction to the other it’s not allowed).
And when i ask if this is possible, the first thing that i want to ask if this is allowed by Blizzard acording to his rules, because i don’t wana do nothing against the policies and rules of this game.
Second: if this is not punished by Blizzard, how i could that? if it’s technicaly posible. I was thinking about this, here i go with an example: go to a neutral auction house with my horde toon, put an insignificant random item at sale, put him high price, then log in with my alliance toon and buy it, and then get the gold from that sale with my horde toon.
That’s all. Any advice will be apreciate.
Edit: i can’t buy gold from my country, Blizzard don’t allow that. So i’m searching a way to give gold to some alts.
Pets are sometimes a good way to do this. Get a somewhat rare pet, cage it, and put it up on the AH on the character that needs gold. Pets are available to all characters on the account, so it’s just a matter of logging over.
Trading between alts is generally forbidden.
As some players have noted, battle pets are cross faction (and cross server) and thus can be used to hand out cash , but the exchange rate can be pretty terrible as prices vary a lot from one server to another.
Your best bet for a beginning charactar on a new server is to roll an allied race (level 20, 1g in cash) , mail the gold to a alt, delete and repeat a few times.
Hey starting a level 1 with 5 gold is better than starting with not a single copper !
I use a friend to move gold. My Horde character puts something up on the auction house and my Alliance character gives my friend the money to buy it. It will not let you bid on your account’s auction.
Given that blizzard has spent so much effort preventing cross faction charactars helping with each other, I’m not certain you should be telling people loop holes, since it tempts the devs to banning you.
But I’m going to go down as saying mailing gold cross faction should not be illegal. (giving an opinion is not the same as handing out info on how to cheat the system)
Ehh pets are an ok way. I “cringe” every time someone says pets are a great way to move gold because that’s not entirely true. Not many players are into pets.
I sell pets. Several every day. Pets take along time to sale unless you’re extremely lucky. This goes for rare pets too.
The pets that move the fastest are not rare. Anub Idol and the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling sell really well because just about every strat in existence calls for these two pets.
I didn’t thought about that. But i’ll have to unlock one allied race from the Alliance, because my needy toons are there, my Hordies have lunches with Gallawyx.

If they try really really hard to stop it, and it’s an unholy pain to sneak around the limitations…it’s probably against the rules.
That being said, they probably don’t care about the occasional 5g I used to give to a new lvel 1 char using the auction house and having a friend buy a grey rock worth 2copper or some such . 5g is kind of too small a sum to see on their radar.
