Am I wrong to think that we should be able to earn the retail currency (Trader’s Tender) while we are playing classic WoW?
The cosmetics and whatnot can stay in retail, but allowing us to earn tender by completing “X Objective” in classic (the bar progress is updated every time you login retail) would curb a lot of FOMO.
People have a whole month to log in and do an hour or two of stuff for their monthly tendies.

As the first two replies said, play Retail if you want Retail rewards (which includes the currency not just the stuff you buy with said currency)… it’s all of an hour or two.
If you can’t be bothered to ever log into Retail, why on earth do you even want Trader’s Tender?!
Besides, we’re already seeing a rerun of stuff in the chest anyway. The treasure chest back piece is back again (or is it a recolor?).

You can unlock all the month’s tendies in like 1 or 2 days
To play Classic you need an active retail sub.
Chances are you have a char in retail that could easily do the TP.
As others have said,it only takes a couple days at best to get it all done and everything will eventually be rotated around.
This harkens back to when the DK frostbrood drake was only avalible in Classic Wrath .
People spun a quick DK and got the mount which is usable.
It really doesn’t take alot to go do TP.
