Trader's Post requirements change?

Am I misremembering this?
It seems to me that various activities for completing the monthly Trader’s Post accumulation have had their requirements nerfed/buffed?
One that I did every month, simply because I STILL DON’T HAVE THE DARNED MOUNT, was run Ice Crown Citadel for “kill x number of raid bosses”. I’m sure it used to be 25 bosses (doing ICC twice wasn’t enough to get the requirement done, I had to do it on two toons, plus one run through of another raid.)
This week I went to do it and the requirement was 20 bosses.
The reward also seemed to be fewer points. I’m not sure but I seem to remember it being closer to 250 pts, while this week I believe it was 100.
(I’m not going to whine much about that one, fewer pts, but it also took far less time to finish since I only had to run it twice)

But I’m noticing a LOT of 10pt activities. This seems to be much fewer than it originally was.

Did I perhaps miss the announcement that these requirements and rewards would change?

They split it into 2 catagories it looks like 5 and 20 for a total of 25.
Also there is a TON of 100 point ones because of the two holidays atm. So I think they are a lot easier to get.

We can earn an extra 500 tenders this month, which is why progress is working a little differently.

You’re correct, they did nerf a lot of sources. A lot of the 200 point stuff is now 100. They removed some easy sources (like rep), while inflating number of points needed to hit max.

They just flat out gave it to us in the past, though.

I guess I haven’t paid much attention. I usually have the progress bar filled in the first 3 days just doing what I normally do. Now it’s looking like it’ll take 5-6 days, which I don’t mind.

You still get the monthly award at 1000. They just let you earn an extra 500 more than normal this month. There’s still lots of easy ones. Hallows End buckets count toward the 25 and 50 quests. Herbing and mining in old world zones. You have so many ways to earn right now:

  • Darkmoon Faire
  • Anniversary event
  • Hallows End
  • Timewalking
  • plus the usual ways like pvp, dungeons, pet battles, 3000 rep in TWW.

I’m at about 1200 already without even trying

It’s not TOO bad, I did get it finished after a few days.
Since I dual-box I was actually able to get the “do 5 quests on characters below level 20 while in a party” in an incredibly short time.

Normally I was getting it all done the very first day. It went really quickly.
This time it took a few days. Not the end of the world, but I haven’t been in WoW-mode much lately, so it was a bit harder to get done… a bit.
