It would be stupid and a surefire rip-off but no doubt people would be clamoring over it anyways like sheep.

And Blizzard didn’t “have” to sell a mount for 90 yet here we are.

and I dont have to charge 800 bucks to build a website I can do in less than 8 hours…but I do.
dont like the price?..build it yourself. :+1:
Dont like the Bruto price?..make your own game and charge any price you want :+1:

How you liking those election results lmao

Whales? I used my husbands money for mine lol

Cry is free brutosaur isnt

They sure do! In fact they will get away with whatever they can. Boeing charging the USAF 100k for a soap dispenser for example.

As consumers we need to call it out when their greed becomes too much. If you dont think it’s too much then you dont need to say anything.

No, you really don’t. You simply don’t buy it. Your words mean nothing. Actions mean everything.

As i said above cry is free, bruto isnt. /thread

PC games these days are copying the mobile games use of micro-transactions. Blizzard with this $90.00 mount price has inflated the cash shop into a mega monolithic transaction. How far will Blizzard go? How much will these cash shop prices rise in the future?

What a goofy take.
Clearly he didn’t buy it, actions already firmly established.
And with the power of words in a forum for communication, is having a discussion about how it affects games to people with lower iq who did buy it… maybe changing some hearts and minds.
“words mean nothing”.
What an absolute clowny take.

This is my take as a player on whats happening in Wow now. Originally when Wow released, prices in the auction house were stable. Then the illegal gold farmers started selling gold to players for irl cash. Prices at the Auction house inflated. Then Blizzard decided that the best way to stop the illegal gold farmers, was for blizzard to sell the Wow Token for irl cash. That strategy worked. Blizzard then put up the cash shop selling in-game cosmetic items. But by Blizzard doing this the main problem ballooned. which was in-game inflation.

So now the in-game inflation is at an all time high. And now Blizzard is selling the Brutosaur mount for $90.00. Players witnessing this price hike in the cash shop are starting to worry. If Blizzard sees that this mount sells big. Then they will continue to sell high price items that have in game utility as opposed to just cosmetics. This may lead to even higher inflation rates at the Auction House. Putting many items beyond the average players and casual players reach.

Projecting into the future this may even put in-game items beyond the elite players reach. The inflation will of reached such a high level. That even those with good jobs. And players who have plenty of free time to dedicate to playing the game for many hours per day won’t be able to afford neither the Auction House, or Cash shop anymore.

I personally think that this is the main factor that so many players are worried about this mount. Not the mount itself. But the high price.

Agreed. Now some posters say “oh i can afford it. lol.” But here’s the thing. Some day you will see at the shop an in- game item that you really, really want and it has utility. But it will be so high priced that you can’t afford it. What then?

seriously, I was not able to make the 5 million gold to buy it when it was in game , or the 10 million gold and time to camp it at the BMAH. Now I see the mount that I have wanted for what like 6 year for sale for $90 or I can buy it with my in game gold … yep I’m going to get it because I can. If I couldn’t buy it I wouldn’t be mad at everyone else who could afford it just because I’m broke.

Yeah, the grinding for that first Bruto was insane. I didn’t start until I learned on the forums that it was going to be removed. I enjoy grinds, but towards the end… ugh. It required a brutal level of focus from me.

I only wanted it because it reminded me of Mobius’ work. The color pallet was spot on. I thought the mobile AH would be a niche benefit. Boy was I surprised how useful it was for my guild when we would raid. That plus an engineer and we were set. Then I was very happy about taking the time to get it.

Now this one comes along for so much less of a time investment, and with a mailbox. Couple that with my understanding of how useful it is and I’m sold. I figure I’ll use the Bruto 2.0 in the wild and Bruto 1.0 in cities, parked at a respectable distance from the mailboxes because I hate mounts covering anything. >.<

<<<walks in with reins in hands showing off both… :sauropod: :sauropod:…now all we need is another Long Boi with none of splash stuff on it…just a lean mean Long boi with Saddle…
