Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur $90.00 Ripoff!

I just hate seeing people spend more money than they should have to, even Liolang. Especially when it’s a company that is just trying to squeeze as much as they can out of you.

Ive said it a few times now that 90 bucks is a chunk of change.
But MOST of my hobbies arent exacty cheap.
This is a mount I wanted the first time but that one cost so much that even MY subjective lines were crossed and I went out of my way to spend my gold so Id never get tempted to buy it.

Even with the gold price on the first one Id never have bought it even if I was gold capped. Just ‘too much’ in my subjective opinion for MY liking.
More power to those who did by Bruto 1.0.
And unlike them, Im not going to insult someone who spent 800 bucks getting the first one.

90 bucks…now we’re talking.
A stack of cash, for sure, but Ive been living on my Bruto…using it a dozen times a day, saving me tons of time when farming NOT having to keep making round trips to the AH or a mail box to mail crap 12 at a time to an AH alt, then open and list…ugh.

This mount fits MY game, especially with the mailbox upgrade so now I dont have to use the mailbox toys like some had to with Bruto 1.0

They dont NEED this mount, theyve made it clear…so they should just let it go…but they wont…which screams that theres more to the story than they want to tell.

oh yawn. This has nothing to do with protecting anyone and you know it. Youve been INSULTING son…you dont insult people youre defending. Not even remotely believeable …any more more than your 400inch screen TV story was lol

I just think Liolang is funny in general. Lol. She like to attack other people but doesn’t like it when someone contradicted her. She get mad bro. Then she says weird funny things. Like calling the other person Son. She funny.

Hey man, I understand today must be rough for you but there’s no need to start calling people things like “son.”

Ya know, unless you’re saying something in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

I remember I used to use gamefaqs. It’s a cesspool right now, but that also started years ago when it was discovered one user was using over 100 different accounts posing as different posters.

I was like WTF when I heard that. That was info from moderation too.

I wouldn’t doubt there’s some here doing the same thing to appear as if they’re getting support for their opinions.

Nobody has to spend anything other than the same 14-15 that everyone else does, though. (I didnt buy it)

That just it…they dont lol.
Theyre upset about the 90 bucks and lashing out at US because we bought it…but they really dont give a rats rump if we’ve blown 90 bucks on something.

Well, thats the conclusion I was avoiding the first 36 hours they were railing on about it…but at a point you start seeing behavior that resembles jealousy…which very often shows symptoms like raging out, accusing, slandering, etc…which is exactly how this turned out.
So at a point…yeah…its feeling more like jealously than some bogus claim that theyre so concerned.

concern is caring…caring doesnt slander and falsely accuse and insult…which theyve been doing since about the second day this mount was selling

not rough for me…son…my guy won. 292 currently.

I don’t get why some people in a lot of forums become so invested in their own opinion and basically reject everyone else’s opinion out of hand. They come across as pompous and illogical.

As a counterpoint:

The mount impacts gameplay, specifically in a key area that serves as a backbone to the game’s core tenets and design philosophies, I.E. the player market and the auction house.

The option to not buy it is there, sure, and perhaps not buying it is not the end of the world, but not buying it is tantamount to accepting that you will have a lesser experience to those who did.

Personally, I think that should be evaluated no matter how small the impact may be, and it should be cause for concern because these sorts of things always start small and cascade into something bigger.

nonsense. Running the AH is there to make gold it has nothing to do with the CORE mechanic of this game…combat.

again…nonsense.
The ONLY people who ‘need’ this mount are AH goblins and ones like me who farm all day and want to save time.
And even we dont NEED it to do what we do.

That’s exactly why I suspect something. When somebody can’t deal with the fact that others disagree with them, and they rebuke vehemently any outside think. It makes me believe they will go to higher lengths to “win”.

This thread isnt about Liolang. I hope we dont need to get a moderator to get it back on topic.

I know you’re not responding to me after you were explicit in raging about how I wouldn’t stop responding to you lmao

The adults are talking now. Go play with your mounts lol

Ehh. There’s really nothing to Win. Each person has an opinion and that’s about it. The most they do is make Veiled insults. But no big deal.

Completely agree. That’s why I put it in quotes. The “win” part is sarcastic. There really is no winning an internet debate.

Thanks for info, it was an interesting read. I don’t think that manufacturers conspiring to manipulate prices applies here though. Here we just have one business, offering one product, to one market. A completely voluntary luxury market to be sure, and the price they are charging for the product could be due 100% to greed, let’s give it that. It is 100% greed. Okay. So, it’s greedy. If it doesn’t give the ROI Blizz expects, it will go away. If it does, then we can expect more of the same. I think market forces are at work in game, and we won’t need a coalition of world governments to resolve this.

Again, thanks for the info.
