Have any of you thought that by selling these mounts and battle pets in the Game shop helps keep the cost of your sub down now ? We pay the same price for our sub each month that was same price back in 2004 now…that is 20 yrs right there…sub price is $14.99 since 2004 and hasn’t gone up one cent since 2004…that is quite surprising now in my book now. Seen many of never thought of that now …it shows.

It’s unbelievable how the defenders of Bliz’s decision to rip-off it’s customers, with a reskinned mount that doesn’t even fly. Come in to say that this is nothing to complain about. This should of been a mount you could of simply achieved by doing some quests.
Incredible that people who are getting ripped-off defend the company’s price gauging money grabbing new policies.

Well people. Now this proves that World of Warcraft is becoming a gatcha mobile game on pc. I guess Bliz hopes that there are enough Whales that will throw their real world money at this idiocy. Gone are the Wow days that people would earn through in-game effort the things they wanted. That is the purpose of an rpg game. The player does quests and missions and tons of fighting in- game to achieve success. They earn rewards that way. Now the game has devolved to the point that those players that have plenty of real world money can afford to spend it on virtual digital goods. While those that don’t have a lot of money to throw at a game can’t.

It use to be when we bought a game either on pc or console. We received the complete game experience. Now the game makers exploit the cash shop. Denying players game content unless they fork-over real world cash. How sad.

I’m a whale and I’m ok with that. I earned my money and you can’t tell me how to spend it. Go cry in somewhere else.

First off all its not something you HAVE to buy. So your statement holds no water at all.If you had to buy the mount or you lose acces to a part of the game then yes you would be 100% correct but thats not the case.

If Blizz said ok you win no more blizz store items and shut the store down tomorrow sub fees would go up.

So pick your battles. Do you want OPTIONAL store mounts or a rising sub fess. You choose

If this were a true gatcha game we’d be spending money on loot boxes that contained anime waifus.

Then 6 months later they’d introduce new versions of the same characters that wear 20% less clothing.

Yeah, well. The way Bliz is going I wouldn’t be surprised if blizzard introduces a new race of waifus bunny girls and cat girls with bikinis. Only obtainable threw the cash shop priced at $100.00 each.

I will choose to continue supporting Wow with my monthly subscription. I expect what is in the Wow virtual world to be included in that subscription. The bliz store and token practice are the worst thing to happen to the game. Keep in mind that there are a lot of free mmorpgs out there.

Free mmorpgs are free to play for a reason, the games don’t have the same quality and don’t have the same support. Even so, there would be microtransactions.

They remain free by having a in game shop like Blizz does only theirs is more “forced”.

The differance is the ONLY place to get cool looking mogs in those “free” games is the in game shop. Also your raid lockouts and what not would be stuck behind a paywall also.

Ill take the low cost sub model + Optional shop items over that any day of the week.

Ignore the price. and just say “its an optional item” You dont need it. You clearly dont want it so why do you care what the price is? Look at it as those who ARE buying it? are keeping you sub cost at the same things its been at since 2005.

Nope not really…you can buy the mount with gold if you can…no no cost out of your pocket then…buy 6 wow tokens and turn them into Battle Net Cash balance and buy the mount …no money cost to you at all…now you can only do this if your have about 2 million or so gold…but hey 2 million gold for a mount that many of us back in BfA paid 5 million gold for …its a bargain really.

100% token price dropped to 170k today. Buddy bought them then applied them to his Bnet and used them to buy the mount

You have to buy them inbetween the masses doing so
