those 6 mounts should’ve been on anniversary vendors lol, the brutosaur i saw coming a mile away idc, but i feel like it’d have been less of a big deal if those were given away for free for logging in or from the vendors or something
They literally dropped 7 mounts during the buggiest patch in quite some time

imo if u pay $15 a month why not pay $90 and take a 6 month break? that way u didnt pay for it. u paid for a vacation from wow and when u come back u get a bruto mount.

You’re not actually being denied anything. You have exactly the same opportunity the rest of us do, so do the people acting on that opportunity. Plenty of people who could throw that money at a mount won’t because they have no interest in it, somed will for the bragging rights as people often do, some people will for the sheer utility of it combined with the other proper items to be able to get anything anywhere, like during raids. It’s a quality of life item that isn’t actually necessary for any sort of progression, more just convenience.

It’s signaling to Blizzard that they are allowed to lock convenience behind paywalls long term and profit from the FOMO of having your friends/guildies having items they had to spend money on or you’ll be on the outside looking in. More and more items, features, etc. that would have just been released for free you will now have to pay to enjoy on top of the game you bought and the subscription you pay monthly for. It will not stop here, this was what they needed the signal to really ramp things up and keep designing more things just for profit while Mythic+ is miserable, everyone is running around exploiting and getting nerfed because they have no concept whatsoever on how to tune their own game. And with all these failures everyone was so willing to bend over and hand them $90 instead of walking 10 feet to the AH in dornogal (where they’ll be sitting 90+% of the time anyway). We don’t even demand that Blizzard makes this game a minimum viable product anymore we just swipe and bow regardless, it’s really sad how far the community has strayed from morality.

Blizzard is locking us out of a convenience 99 percent of players haven’t had ever in the entire 20 years of the game? Not really. People are acting like it’s something as necessary as the old flying licenses being locked behind a pay wall. It’s just an Auction House lmfao.
