Remember when people used to socialize in Trade Chat? Now if you ask a question or make a comment either dead silence or told to shut-up.
not sure what trade chat you’re talking in, I ask questions and answer questions all the time.

Yes, trade chat is pretty dead. Most of it is just “carry run” sale spam/advertising these days.
It used to be fun in the past though, it’s a shame.

That’s not true at all. A little while ago I asked trade chat to help me figure out how many cups of pudding I’d need to fill a swimming pool, and they did! They even told me how much it would cost! It’s a lot, by the way.

Probably depends on your server. People on my server seem to be nicer than other servers I played on, specifically higher pop servers.

Well it is “trade” chat.
It might depend on your server, how closely people use it correctly.
I only shut off trade chat because it isn’t about “trade.” If people ask a question in “general”, I’ll answer that.

I’ve always made a separate Trade window then direct Trade chat, General and Local Defense to it.
Really cuts down the chatter.
