It has become IMPOSSIBLE to make a request for crafting in the Trade Channel. There are too many external companies using this channel to market their products . . . Raid Runs, etc. I have tried over 50 times to request crafting services from a Armorsmith with an advertised tip of 50K and NEVER receive a response. Just as soon as I hit the key to post, my post is IMMEDIATELY shift up and out of site and is replaced by some 5 - 10 outside companies with 6-7 line advertisements. This action restricts customers . . . Which I would assume is BAD.

Post your crafting request in Trade, Services, LFG and General Chat. I always get a response within <5 min.
But I play a populated Alliance server usually.
If your server pop is low it is tough to get a crafter any time of the day.

Depends on your server. Some are really cluttered, some are used appropriately.

Go to social settings and uncheck service chat.
If it’s still cluttered, I don’t know what else.
I have both trade chat and service chat off, too spammy.
It would be better if they had an bored for players to look at to clean up the spam.
On my servers: Illidan and moonguard have too much spam.
Emerald Dream and BurningBlade are fine.
Every crafting order I ever made was done over Trade, and every single one was able to craft them with no issues.
I’m leaning towards ‘hyperbolic’ on this one.

They need to make trade chat cross-faction immediately. We’re all sitting next to each other in the capital city anyway and do 90% of the content cross-faction and can be in guilds together cross-faction

You can turn off everything except Trade. Please look into before yelling on the forums. Its not a nice look.
I use BadBoy or something like that. Cuts out most nonsense spam. But also have never had an issue getting crafts. If anything, some crafters are using suspicious addons that autowhisper replies the second you link a craft.
Most of the serious crafters are using add-ons that scans the channels for order requests so they’ll see it even if there’s a ton of junk traffic.
Trade chat, heh, I find it amusing complaining about trade chat because of trade stuff. Breaks out rocking chair…Back in my day, Trade Chat was only outdone by Barrens chat for the biggest cesspool of humanity. Good times lol.
