would it be possible to get time stamps on trade chat so that people can tell when request for profession crafting was made.
Often I get into the city and see someone asking for something but I had no way of knowing how long ago that was.
If you enter into town and see a request in the chat, doesn’t that mean they just made it?
Can’t you just add time stamps via the chat settings?
Edit: Just checked. Under Options → Social, scroll down to the very bottom and there’s a pop up for time stamps. You can pick between 5 options for how the time stamp is displayed.

? eg looking for someone to craft mail boots shows in chat. I have no idea when it was posted. If it was posted 4 minutes ago I am wasting my time whispering that person because of how quick those are filled.
I probably have whispered people close to 15 times this expansion and most times I get no reply because it was filled long ago.

It’s super helpful! When we got the new guild interface in BfA (I think) I added timestamps so I could see when all the conversations happened. The time stamp is displayed to the left of channel name.

That’s what I thought! But I haven’t used base chat in such a long time that I couldn’t remember if it was a default feature or from an add on.
