New aff lock here that always played Destro … from what I understand, Unstable Affliction has been changed so that it can only be on one enemy at a time.
What I’m wondering is, is it possible to track the debuff timer itself … NOT specific to my current target?
The reason I’m trying to do it this way is because of AOE encounters. I will be changing targets enough times and I think it would be pretty convenient to simply know how much time of the debuff exists on the one target without having to switch back to it (or look at the unit frame). Or another way to look at it would be to simply start a 16s timer any time I press Unstable Affliction
I know that sounds a little picky, but I’m just curious if WA can do that.
Ya weak aura can do that, just track that the debuff aura.
How do you do that without assigning a unit? I don’t want to assign it to the Target unit for reasons mentioned. But not sure how to load it otherwise
Ya, that is a difficult one. He is saying you can track how many you have out at any one time. That does not mean though that it’s going to tell you the time each target has left. Such as you will have one box that says maybe (6) and that’s all it’s going to say, you might be able to get a CD graphic on the box to tell you though when the first dot will expire. Locks are a real pain when it comes to UI.
You track nameplate. Trigger aura > nameplate > debuff then 30108 aura for ua. Then you can create whatever display and conditions type you want. I basically just use an icon that is desaturated until I cast it and it then has the timer and glows when its at 5 seconds so I can refresh.
